The Unmasking of Maine....and Beyond

E-MAILSDottie Lafortune 7/28/14to?fmaldonado,?fdominguezMr. Maldonado and Mr. Dominguez,Please forward this e-mail to the Legislative Investigative Committee. On May 8, 2014 I sent you an e-mail,?with enclosed documents, requesting that you forward to the members of the committee for their inclusion and consideration into this investigation. On June 8, 2014 I e-mailed to you additional information requesting that you forward to members of the committee. As I follow these hearings, the committee questions the involvement in the bridge scandal of some of the same individuals involved in my request for investigation??into Bergen County and Fort Lee.It has been reported that New Jersey U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman?wants to question?Mike DuHaime, a top political strategist, considered to be one of Gov. Chris Christie's closest advisors,?especially when it comes to the national picture and the governor’s future plans.?I want to bring up another issue to the committee that may have political ties...Marc Mukasey, attorney for Mr. DuHaime.?Marc Mukasey, ?the son of Bush administration Attorney General Michael Mukasey,?said he would evaluate a request to testify before the committee if and when it is made. In my May 8, 2014 e-mail I detailed my complaint to the DOJ/OIG during the tenure of U.S.A.G. Alberto Gonzales. Attorney Gonzales left office and was replaced by Michael Mukasey. I contacted A.G. Mukasey regarding the complaint filed with the DOJ/OIG. I did not receive a response from him. Now his son appears as Mr. DuHaime's attorney.?Additionally, I learned that Matt Mowers?was working for the New Hampshire Republican Party at the time he sent the email to Mr. DuHaime. The "ties" and political connections from New Hampshire and Washington DC to New Jersey become more apparent with each committee hearing and news media reports. As I've stated previously,?I have been unsuccessful with trying to reach Governor Christie on this matter.?The time frame of the bridge lane closings and my correspondence with the US Dept. of Justice is suspicious in the very least. The Democrats sit with evidence of Governor Christie's failure/refusal to investigate federal crimes which could possibly be used in the upcoming presidential election. My intent is not to harm any political figure, but to seek justice and closure to this egregious travesty of justice and abuse of power.I seek your help in bringing this matter before a grand jury. Also, I did not receive a response from either clerk as to whether my e-mails were forwarded to the members of the committee, nor a response from any committee member.?I thank you for your consideration and help with this most serious matter.Dorothy LafortuneXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXDottie Lafortune?Date: Thu,?May?8,?2014?at 2:32 PMSubject: Investigation into the GW Bridge lane closuresTo:?fnaldonado@Cc:?fdominguez@Mr. Maldonado and Mr. Dominguez,I listened to the live hearing Tuesday,?May?6,?2014?on the investigation of the GW Bridge scandal. I have been following this incident since last year. Much has come out about the incident, yet many are still asking "why" this happened. It is possible that Governor Christie was unaware of the plan to close bridge lanes and that there is political maneuvering behind the scenes with a Democratic controlled US DOJ.Due to the time frame of the lane closures, coupled with the upcoming presidential campaign, I'm asking that you forward this correspondence, with enclosed documents, to the following members of the committee for their inclusion and consideration into this investigation:Amy Handlin of Monmouth CountyMichael Patrick Carroll of Morris CountyHolly Schepisi of Bergen CountySen. Kevin O’Toole of Essex CountyDecember 7, 2006 I filed a complaint with then USAG Christopher Christie regarding the cover up by N.J. agencies/officials of elder abuse, which resulted in an?unattended death?alleged to have occurred in Fort Lee, N.J. A fraudulent Certificate of Death was filed with the Bureau of Vital Statistics. My requests for an investigation involves, but not limited to, Fort Lee, Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, County Coroner's Office, the N.J. Attorney General’s Office, the Medical Examiner’s Office.Having no response from the USAG's office, I filed a criminal complaint with the OIG, DOJ on February 1, 2007. The OIG determined that the Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys management should review my complaint, OIG letter,?attached. However, maneuvering from within the department, this matter was brushed under the rug.On March 14, 2010 I wrote to Governor Christopher Christie, with documentation, requesting his assistance and intervention. Due to government employees non-compliance with the law, I called upon him to cause an investigation into a most egregious travesty of justice and violations of oaths of office, breach of responsibility and statutory protocol, Obstruction of Justice, malfeasance of office and abuse of power.Dated March 29, 2010 I received a reply from Governor Christie stating that he asked Attorney General Paula Dow to review the information I sent to him and reply to me directly,?attached. Attorney General Dow did not reply to me and failed to respond to Governor Christie’s directive. Contact information was given to the A.G.’s office for a Private Investigator from New Hampshire who went to New Jersey in?May?2009 for further investigation into the matter and he was never contacted. This Private Investigator is well respected in New Hampshire and his investigation revealed gross violations of N.J. Statutes including contributory negligence which meet the requirements of culpability N.J.S.A. 2C:2-2; 26:ernor Christie was made aware of the fact that A.G. Paula Dow had failed to respond to his directive. I have had no response from Governor Christie as of yet.Is there a connection between Gov. Christie’s “Bridgegate“, US Senator Kelly Ayotte (former N.H. A.G.) and the US DOJ? Is there political maneuvering behind the scenes? Regardless, all three have personal knowledge of state and federal crimes committed, cover up, obstruction of justice and malfeasance of office. Documented evidence supports this.July 23, 2013, per my conversation with someone in the OIG, I re-sent my original complaint to that office with additional documentation. This was also sent to Michael E. Horowitz, Inspector General who replaced Glenn Fine,?attached. ?Mr. Horowitz's received my correspondence dated August 14, 2013.Having received no response from Mr. Horowitz I e-mailed, via?oig.hotline@, a follow up message on September 16,?2014.On September 19, 2013 I received correspondence from the Office of the Inspector General, unsigned, acknowledging receipt of my correspondence dated July 23, 2013 and that my complaint had been forwarded to the Executive Office for U.S. Attorney. The response also stated that this office considers the matters raised "to be closed."On Monday, January 13,?2014?I e-mailed, via?AskDOJ@, a message to Mr. Horowitz requesting the reason for the closure of this case and the name of the person who sent the response from his office. I have received no response.I have been unsuccessful with trying to reach Governor Christie on this matter. On January 15,?2014?I spoke with his aide "John" who was going to relay my message to the governor. No response.I even tried contacting Governor Christie through his Facebook page. No response. The time frame of the bridge lane closings and my correspondence with the US Dept. of Justice is suspicious in the very least. The Democrats sit with evidence of Governor Christie's failure/refusal to investigate federal crimes which could possibly be used in the upcoming presidential election. My intent is not to harm any political figure, but to seek justice and closure to this egregious travesty of justice and abuse of power.I'm requesting that you take into consideration the attached documents and seek your help in putting closure to this matter. Please contact me with any further questions you?may?have or additional documents that you?may?want. I will pursue this until I see justice is done. Perhaps this is your answer as to "why" Bridgegate" happened. Everyone involved in Bergen County has been protected. Is it ' take the spotlight' off of Bergen County/Fort Lee and place it on Governor Christie, although the governor has as abused his power in this case.I look forward to a response from these members of the investigative committee.Dorothy Lafortune3?Attachmentsview e-mails to Governor Christie ................
