If a-teapotism is justified simply on the basis of a lack of evidence for teapotism, and atheism is like a-teapotism, then it would seem that atheism is likewise justified simply on the basis of a lack of evidence for theism. Bertrand Russell thinks this analogy works in favor of atheism; but Alvin Plantinga, drawing on the same analogy, disagrees. ................
