49358556096000left2222500AFROTC DET 010 UPDATE 2 March 2021SECDEF Directed Extremism TrainingExtremism has many definitions, but for our purposes, the definition is: An extremist doctrine, ideology, or cause characterized by “a common belief which might otherwise be politically or socially acceptable, but which espouses the use or threat of force or violence to obtain their goals.” We each took (or will be expected to take) an oath to obey the law, support and defend the Constitution, and to do our jobs to the best of our ability. Actions that go against the fundamental principles of this oath will not be tolerated, including actions associated with extremist or dissident ideologies. All Air Force and Space Force members deserve an environment free of discrimination, hate, and harassment, and it is incumbent upon all of us that these corrosive behaviors are prevented. At LLAB on 1 April, all cadets and cadre will complete extremism training. Please use this opportunity to learn about impermissible behaviors and to listen to each other’s concerns, experiences and possible solutions to make us a better and stronger Department of the Air Force.PSP (POC Selection Process) UpdateThe PSP board met 15 Mar 21, and the projected release date for the PSP board results is 30 Mar 21, pending PGL release.PGL (Program Guidance List) Status Update The PGL outlines our accessions requirements.
