New FeatureClick PathStudy Plan Enhancements (Student View)General feature – We’ve had the study plan for years but now the instructor can assign the companion study plan as a prerequisite to a test or quiz. From the student view, click on the study plan and show either the “next” companion study plan assignment or click on the drop down menu to show “entire course”.Study Plan Enhancements (Instructor View)Click on the instructor gradebook and click on the Study Plan tab. The instructor now has two different views. They can click on “companion study plan” or “entire course.”If they click on “entire course” they will see time spent on practice and the “quiz me’s.” This allows them to quickly see time spent in the study plan without having to manual add it up.Next, click on the “Study Plan Manager” and click on edit Study Plan Homepage. This will allow the instructor to set their new study plan view (the default) or they can change it to the View Progress view.Remove Learning Aids at the question levelThe instructor now has the ability to remove learning aids at the question level.Click on “assignment manager” and create a homework assignment. After you have selected the questions click on “view question detail”. After you click on ”view question detail” there is a new column that will allow you to remove learning aids at the assignment or question level.HTML5 Show work enhancements and new printing enhancementsGeneral Feature - When an instructor decides to assign a “show work” question, students will have a new palette that will allow them to input responses either from their keyboard or by using a stylus or finger. This is for ALL MML courses whether on a tablet or desktop.NOTE - The new printing enhancement does not currently work on a PC. We will be releasing ALL courses in HTML5 and the PC-friendly format this summer. Until then, this functionality is only available on an iPad or Android device.New Features AnnouncementGeneral Feature - When an instructor logs into their course they will now see a New Announcement pop-up and they can click directly on the link that will take them to the MML/MLS landing page.Learning Catalytics Integration (Instructor View) When instructors log into their courses, they will see a new Learning Catalytics pod on the right hand side of the dashboard. They can click on the Learning Catalytics link to view or assign LC. They can click on Preview & Set up or Use with Students.If they click Preview and Set up, they can create or copy a new module. This click path mirrors the process in Mastering.If they click Use with Students, they can also create or copy a module and then choose their response mode. After they select their response mode, then they get to modify their settings for this module. If they would like their LC grades to report back to the MML/MSL gradebook, they would need to scroll to the bottom of their setting and make sure “Gradebook transfer” is selected. At this point they can select Pearson created content, then click save and finish.Learning Catalytics Integration (Student View)General Feature - When an instructor decides to use Learning Catalytics in their MML/MSL course the student would log-in to MML/MSL and they will see also see a new LC pod and it will say “In Class Learning” with an LC link. When a student logs in with their MML/MSL log-in and password they will NOT be prompted for a session id.Learning Catalytics Gradebook Integration ViewWhen an instructor decides to use Learning Catalytics in their MML/MSL, course they have the option to integrate their LC scores with their MML/MSL scores. Click on the instructor gradebook and click on all assignments. There LC assignment will be listed like their normal MML/MSL assignments.*NOTE - A best practice would be to name your LC assignments where you can easily find those. An example would be LC-Week 2.In student view, users would see their LC assignments and have the option to go back and review results. ................
