Abstract:

The field of education has the ability to capture the imagination and understanding of every student with the assistance of technology. Teachers must improve their technological fluency in order to reach the ‘’screen-ager’’ generation in our classrooms. This presentation will explain and demonstrate how to use multiple Apple iPad applications to develop activities for lessons, engage students and evaluate secondary level ELL students’ understanding of content standards through reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Audience members are recommended to bring their own iPads.
