-13970018415000Windows MovieMaker is a program that allows you to edit sounds, videos, and pictures into a cohesive movie product. You will be using movie maker to create a how-to video, complete with videos, pictures, captions, narration and music.Directions-Step 1- Learn how to use Movie Maker. The way you choose to learn how to use the program is up to you, here are a couple options:If you learn better independently, Watch this tutorial: (trust me, this guys cool accent makes this video a must watch)OrWatch Mr. N create a sample movie in classORMaybe you learn best by trial and error and you want to just open the program and start trying it out.Step 2- Think about a skill you would like to teach the class. I would recommend it is a skill that can be described using a “step by step” description. Find a video of the how to you are describing or record your own version of the skill. Your entire movie should be betweem 30 seconds and 2 minutes long. You may use a cell phone camera or personal camera if you have direct approval from MR. N. Do not use your cell phone unless you have spoken to Mr. N and described what your plan is. If you are using a video from youtube, you will need to use a video converter like clipconverter.onlineCopy the web address of the video you are using, paste it into the converter and convert the file to a .mp4 file and save to your V: drive. Do not click on any popups, adds or program updates. If you have issues or are unsure, SEE MR. N.Step 3- Create your how to video using movie maker. Be sure to follow the requirements included in the rubric below.Step 4- Triple check the “Must Haves” below so you get an A+!***Your video must be saved as a MPEG-4 file in your V drive!!!***(click “save movie”, select “recommended for this project” and then make sure the file type is “MPEG-4”Must Have:Points PossiblePoints Earned and CommentsA skill involving at least 5 steps5?Your video production logo must be at the beginning and end of the video10?Transitions between any different media5?Added narration of your describing the step by step process.
