RECOMMENDATIONS TO DO WELL IN SPANISH

RECOMMENDATIONS TO DO WELL IN SPANISH

1. Go over all the previous learned vocabulary. It is good to go back and “recycle” your foreign language learning, especially your vocabulary.

- go to number 377-386 (end of semester).

2. I ask you to go to the following site:

Listen to the dialogues. Choose one you would like

to know, write the lines on a separate sheet of

paper, and learn it by memory.

3. Listen or watch Spanish television. The news on Univision or Telemundo are good sources to practice listening.

4. Start writing a personal Journal in Spanish. If you don’t remember/know how to write a word in Spanish, look it up in a dictionary.

5. Read, read, read in Spanish. I want you to start reading the short stories from the following site:

Choose “INICIAL” this means “Beginning” level. You can choose one of the books and then do the “antes de leer” “texto” o “después de leer” activities. You can also go to the “aula de lengua” (right below) to learn new vocabulary words in a fun way.

6. You can also practice in the following site for the National Spanish Examination you will be taking at the end of March.

Choose level 1. Do all the activities (vocabulary, grammar, reading and comprehension and listening). If you find them difficult, do not give up. Use the dictionary to get better and go over the activities again, and again.

7. Lastly, you can also practice with “My quia activities and quizzes” (right below, on my links).

Do the best you can do!! Haz lo mejor que puedas hacer!

Bueno, ¡hasta pronto!

Sra. Bara-Murphy
