Getting the best from Adobe Reader

If you have a full copy of Adobe (rather than just the

free Reader, then the tools down the left hand side

will be visible. Usually they are just grayed out.

Depending on the security settings they may be

grayed out anyway.

Find any word or group of words in the entire document. Great

search facility

If you turn a laptop sideways this icon will turn the screen view 90

degrees so you can view the page in portrait size. Useful occasionally

reading settings are FIT WIDTH. The best setting (usually) to view graphics or

pictures is the 100% setting. Above this setting graphics may stretch and become

unviewable.
