Update:Everton Fans' ForumDate:March 2020Introduction Due to the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus COVID-19, the March Fans' Forum meeting was cancelled. The Forum is committed to providing supporters with an update on key issues and has produced the following report. Members of the Forum submitted agenda items and the Club has provided responses where needed. 1 Actions from previous meeting: ACTION: JB and CP to discuss options for how the Fans' Forum can promote the planning application announcement. RESPONSE: The Fans' Forum sent out an email to all supporters to inform and encourage the wider fanbase to support the planning application. CP collated responses to the email and shared it with JB. ACTION: CP to liaise with the Digital Team at the Club and pass on feedback regarding customer number registrations.RESPONSE: CP confirmed that the feedback had been provided to the Digital Team, who are investigating this. ACTION: Fans' Forum to review Fan of the Year process. RESPONSE: This item is ongoing. ACTION: Club to review fan involvement in content for the Dixies.RESPONSE: Plans are currently being reviewed due to the current pandemic. ACTION: Retail group to discuss retail visibility across the City at the next meeting.RESPONSE: RM will confirm the next meeting date for the Retail Project group once meetings are safe to be resumed. ACTION: CP to update on Premier League attendance at a future Fans' Forum meeting.RESPONSE: CP confirmed that an open invitation had been sent to the Premier Leagues Supporter Liaison Manager, who has confirmed he will attend a future meeting. ACTION: CP to work with TS, JO and JB to produce a Fans' Forum survey for international supporters.RESPONSE: CP confirmed that the Club is currently working on an International project piece with the Fans' Panel. The Insight Team has suggested that the Fans' Forum holds a branded section of the broader survey; this should increase response rates from supporters.ACTION: CP to pick up with Stadium Operations over the possibility of the Littlewoods clock being stored at Goodison Park.RESPONSE: Stadium Operations team have been made aware of this request. However, they are currently unable to investigate stadium locations as there is no access to Goodison Park at the moment.22019/20 Season TicketsThe Forum queried what action the Club would take if the 2019/20 Premier League season is cancelled. The Forum suggests the Club should consider the following options. Refund supporters Credit to be available against customer number to come off future purchases Discounted 2020/21 Season Ticket Opportunity for supporters to donate funds to CharityCLUB UPDATE: The Club will review all eventualities and communicate to supporters in line with any Premier League updates regarding the postponement of the League.3Singing Section in GT8 The Fans' Forum requested an update on the Club’s commitment to growing the singing section at Goodison Park and the number of fans registered. CLUB UPDATE: CP confirmed that the Club is continuing to work with the Supporter Group, the Originals and have committed to growing the section for the 2020/21 season. The Club has worked with the group to produce a registration form for supporters to express their interest in being part of the section. The Club has also sent out emails to supporters about transferring in and out of block GT8. CP is currently working with the Insight Team to gather numbers but confirmed the initial interest in moving into the section and transferring out of the section has been positive and that the growth of the section is on track with objectives agreed.42020/21 TicketsThe Fans' Forum requested the Club to update on the current 2020/21 Season Ticket renewal dates following the postponement of the Premier League.CLUB UPDATE: The Club has extended the Season Ticket and Hospitality member's renewal deadline to support fans and provide greater flexibility in consideration of the challenges facing society as it battles the spread of coronavirus. The Club announced that the renewal date changed from Thursday 2 April to Thursday 28 May. The deadline for Season Ticket seat transfer requests was also extended from Friday 20 March to Friday 10 April.5Analysis of other Forums JB has contacted all Clubs across the Premier League to identify his counterparts of their respective Fans' Forums, with the aim being to identify and adopt good practices from similar groups. Responses have been received from 11 Clubs so far and JB confirmed the Everton Fans' Forum appears to be excelling in terms of holding regular meetings and working with a committed Club staff. A thorough update will hopefully be provided at the next meeting, dependent upon receiving responses from the remaining groups.6Atmosphere Project Group UpdatePQ is confirmed as the lead Forum member for the Atmosphere Project Group meetings; supported by SE, JB and DK.The atmosphere meetings with other fan groups will focus on discussions around flags, banners, stadium music, pre-match content on the big screens and activity around the stadium; meetings will be held after each round of TV selections have been announced.The project group will continue to meet with other fans and Club representatives, with RM in her role as Supporter Liaison Officer coordinating all meetings. 7International Project Group UpdateTS is to lead on International Project Group meetings with involvement from JB, RE and JO. JO will be the Fans' Forum contact for Europe and TC for North America and the rest of the world As a new project group, priorities are to build awareness of how TS and JO can help overseas fans, establishing direct two-way communication methods and gaining insights on international fans key issues.Discussions for the international Fans' Forum survey have taken place with the Insight Team and several options are currently being considered.8Blue FamilyThe Forum confirmed they received referrals from supporters to receive a call from the Club during isolation. Information on these requests has been sent to the Club to review as part of The Blue Family campaign. CLUB UPDATE: CP confirmed that as part of The Blue Family campaign, the Fan Centre is delivering welfare calls to Season Ticket Members over the age of 70, The calls are starting with our oldest supporters, which begins at 95. Everton in the Community is also delivering calls to all participants from community projects and having regular communication with those who are isolated. CP confirmed that since the campaign started, the Club has now released a referral form for supporters to use to help Everton in the Community identify anyone in the community that may be isolated and need support. CP suggested if the Forum receives any more requests, the supporter is best to complete the referral form and the Club and Community will review and handle accordingly, prioritising cases based on vulnerability. ................
