Some people prefer to work for a large company. Others prefer to work for a small company. Which would you prefer? Use specific reasons and details to support your choice.

In today’s workplace, there are many different companies where you can go in and start working. However, it is very important to find the right career that encourages you and brings out the best in you. As I worked in both small and large companies, I really prefer to work in a large one so that I can get a promotion, have better benefits and better working conditions.

Nowadays, we spend most of our time at our workplace. Therefore, it would be nice if the company can give us various incentives. As small businesses have limited room for growth, you may have less opportunities to show your talent; as a result of which, you may be required to do repetitive jobs over the years without much change.

Moreover, larger companies offer more benefits than the smaller businesses. Overtime, percentage of increment, excellent perks such as private health insurance, a company car, and even a company pension are usual benefits that you may find in large companies just to make sure you stay on.

There are also many different positions in large companies. If the employer is satisfied with your work, you could be promoted to a higher position with more responsibility and possibly a raise. In this way, you can get experience working in various sections in larger companies, while there is lesser prospect of success in smaller ones.

In short, I like working in large companies since I enjoy more benefits, more exposure and get a variety of experience working in many different departments.
