Interpreters

Propio partners with over 5,000 interpreters. Over-the-phone services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Just call when interpretation assistance is needed. No appointment is necessary! Spanish language average connection time is 20 seconds, and all other languages are available in an average of 45 seconds.

Propio is very selective, contracting with only 20% of the interpreters interested in working with us. Each much achieve an ILR rating of 3 (General Professional Proficiency) or above. As a result, the interpreters possess strong interpreting skills and understand cultural sensitivity, industry terminology, and interpreting protocol. All interpreters understand and agree to abide by industry-recognized standards for confidentiality, interpreter ethics, data protection, and HIPAA requirements.

State-of-the-art Infrastructure

Our telephony system is second to none. It is fast, secure, and fully redundant. All telephone lines are monitored simultaneously by two telephone servers. All servers are stored in a secure data center with generator back-up power, and the capability of withstanding a category four tornado, Each server is supported by a dual network infrastructure (public & private). In the event of a catastrophic system failure, such as a natural disaster, our system is set up to be manned by personnel at contingency sites located throughout the U.S.
