Project officers are responsible for managing substantial projects, leading on developing and embedding ways of working across the team, building relationships with external stakeholders, and designing high quality written content for websites, reports and presentations. 1.Particular to this post:As Project Officer, you will play a key role in managing programmes and provide day-to-day support to the Director and Heads across the Sector Development Team.Manage substantial projects taking responsibility for the end to end process from commissioning to evaluation. Lead on the team’s approach to monitoring quality and evaluation including making recommendations and shaping the activities, and working with other team members to ensure a consistent approach.Embed effective and consistent procurement processes across the team including participating in scoring proposals.Proactively identify key stakeholders and build relationships to ensure that work is scoped, developed, managed and disseminated effectively across the team.Coordinate the activity for ETF stakeholder meetings including the Technical Education expert panel including responsibility for ensuring the impact of the meetings are maximised, development of the agenda, commissioning and writing papers, and taking minutes.Identify gaps in information, and research, design and develop high quality presentations, briefing notes, and reports. Support communications activity across the team by identifying and addressing any gaps through writing content for blogs, websites and articles.Attend meetings, events and conferences delegating for the Heads or Directorate as appropriate including staffing the ETF stand utilising a clear understanding of programmes delivered across ETF.Support the management of projects across the team including taking forward specific actions from meetings and taking minutes where necessary, monitoring project plans and budgets.Such other duties commensurate with the role which may be required from your Line Manager and wider team.2.In common with all staff:2.1To support the aims of the Education and Training Foundation to support Colleges, Providers and Employers to:Contribute to making the Education and Training sector an attractive place to work so that it can recruit and retain the best staff.Undertake all administrative tasks necessary to ensure the efficient delivery of specified tasks to agreed deadlines.Support the delivery of the organisation’s mission, values and Critical Success Factors (CSFs).2.2 To support collective leadership, knowledge sharing and relationship building across the organisation and the sector.2.3 Actively work to ensure all activities incorporate a focus on promotion of equality and valuing diversity, including collecting and analysis of appropriate monitoring data.2.4To co-ordinate and motivate the relevant teams and manage the organisation’s resources effectively and efficiently.2.5To work creatively with a range of different stakeholders to promote and enhance the work of the organisation.2.6Comply with all financial and employment regulations and procedures.3.
