Band Fundraiser by Kellie McKee The time of the year has come again, and that time is for band fundraisers! Every year the band sells things to help raise money for the Disney trip, and to keep the band running every year. On January 8th, the fundraiser for trash bags began. There are many to choose from, and many more colors. It helps everyone in the band greatly, and everyone appreciates it. Thank you for your support in buying these!Interview with Autry Technology Center student, Kellie McKeeby Josephine LarsenMany of our students attend Autry Tech every year. It’s a fun and lively environment that makes me feel very welcomed! What are your plans after you finish your class? I’m not sure yet. What has been your favorite memory of the year in your class? Giving the 8th graders tours was very fun as well as the blood drive. Are you considering taking another class at Autry Tech? Possibly for next year after my program is finished. Would you recommend future students attending Autry Technology Center? Yes, it’s very convenient to help you achieve your goals while still in high school. Ag Newsby Donny BellMr. Goyen and the Ag program had their annual Christmas party on December 12th . Anyone that is in an Ag class was invited to join Goyen and the Ag officers as they celebrated Christmas. There were food, drinks, and Dirty Santa games played. It is always a fun way for the Ag classes to celebrate Christmas as they come together for quality time and for fun games. It was a huge success as it always is!Kremlin-Hillsdale meets SkillsUSAby Josephine LarsenSkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers, and industry professionals working together to ensure that America has a skilled workforce. SkillsUSA is a student organization within CareerTech schools such as Autry Technology Center. Our school has many students attending Autry this year, as always. Kremlin-Hillsdale has one SkillsUSA state officer, Josephine Larsen. We also house the Northwest SkillsUSA district Parliamentarian, Kimberly Hatcher and our Autry chapter secretary is Kaylyn Brownell. This year we also have many students competing with SkillsUSA such as Katy Ormston competing with a skill competition for nail art. So, let’s all cheer on all of our SkillsUSA students here at Kremlin-Hillsdale.Band by Kellie McKeeThe New Year has started which means that Tri State has started. The band begins preparing to learn and prefect songs for Tri State. They have to work every day when they get their music, so they can achieve the best rating. Support your band just as much as you support your sports, the band loves it.Agriculture newsby Donny BellMr. Goyen and the Ag class have been on many Ag trips this school year and still have many more to go. The first of the year is showing around 8th graders, then sophomores. This will be the last opportunity for students to tour programs they might be interested in before junior enrollment.
