Spring

From maple syrup and fiddleheads to spring skiing and the opening of the fishing season, it is another spectacular time of year in New Brunswick. The months of March, April, and May are considered the spring months, a time of growth and renewal. Take a weekend getaway or a fun day adventure to rejuvenate with your loved one.

In Full Bloom

Gardens show their glorious colours; lupines grow wild along country roadsides, and we get the urge to enjoy an exhilarating walk along beautiful trails and parks or an afternoon of ATVing.

Maple Flavours

The warm days and cool nights of spring, along with a hand from Mother Nature interacting with the maple tree, bring us hard-to-resist maple syrup. There are many sugar camps in New Brunswick where you can enjoy this tasty treat.

Fresh Fiddleheads!

Spring in eastern Canada means picking fiddleheads. Aboriginal people introduced Fiddleheads to early settlers in the Maritimes centuries ago and they have been a popular delicacy ever since, especially when combined with Atlantic salmon for a delicious New Brunswick favourite dish.

Summer

Experience the power of the Bay of Fundy, one of the marine wonders of the world. Uncover nature’s mysteries on our dunes and discovery beaches. Tour miles of the Maritimes’ most spectacular rivers or the sights and sounds of a bay that’s won a beauty contest. Find magnificent unspoiled wilderness in the Appalachian Mountains.

Add to this coastal waters washed by some of the warmest salt water north of Virginia and a truly distinctive culture flavoured with strong Aboriginal, Loyalist and Acadian roots, and you’ve got a sure fire recipe for fun!
