This Action Item remains open and is ongoing. Action Item: Participants will provide misalignments between 3GPP and the IP-NNI TF to Martin Dolly (AT&T) in writing. This Action Item remains open and is ongoing. IP-NNI TOPIC DISCUSSIONPTSC-LB-260, dp ATIS Standard, Study of Full Attestation Alternatives for Enterprises and Business Entities with Multi-Homing and Other Arrangements (ATIS-1000089.v002)PTSC-2021-00023R000 / IPNNI-2021-00050R000, Closing letter for PTSC-LB-260The closing letter was noted for information. IPNNI-2021-00048R000, ATIS editorial updatesThese letter ballot comments were submitted by ATIS for editorial clean up. Agreement Reached: These editorial letter ballot comments were confirmed to be non-substantive and accepted. Neustar commentKen Politz (Neustar) presented this letter ballot comment. Agreement Reached: The letter ballot comment from Neustar was resolved. PTSC-2021-00022R000, iconectiv commentsChris Drake (iconectiv) presented these letter ballot comments. Agreement Reached: The letter ballot comments from iconectiv were resolved. Agreement Reached: All letter ballot comments were addressed and deemed non-substantive and this baseline was approved for publication. PTSC-LB-261, dp ATIS Standard, Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Resource-Priority Header (RPH) and Priority Header Signing in Support of Emergency Calling (ATIS-1000098)PTSC-2021-00033R000 / IPNNI-2021-00063R000, Closing letter for PTSC-LB-261The closing letter was noted for information. PTSC-2021-00024R000, Neustar commentsKen Politz (Neustar) presented these letter ballot comments. A question was raised regarding whether this document should be aligned with 3GPP; however, that alignment would be considered a substantive change. As such, the editorial comments will be reviewed with the knowledge that this will go to default letter ballot. Agreement Reached: These letter ballot comments were resolved. PTSC-2021-00026R000, Ericsson commentsTerry Reese (Ericsson) presented these letter ballot comments. Several of these LB comments reflect recent agreed changes in 3GPP and are considered substantive. Agreement Reached: These letter ballot comments were resolved. PTSC-2021-00028R000, Perspecta Labs commentsTom Moresco (Perspecta Labs) presented these letter ballot comments.Agreement Reached: These letter ballot comments were confirmed to be non-substantive and resolved. Agreement Reached: All letter ballot comments were discussed and this baseline was approved for 30-day default letter ballot. ATIS-1000074.v002, Signature-based Handling of Asserted information toKENs (SHAKEN)IPNNI-2021-00021R003, Signature-based Handing of Asserted information using toKENs (SHAKEN) (Baseline)This is the approved baseline which was accepted during the IP-NNI TF meeting on April 12, 2021, which incorporates the changes accepted in -00022R003. IPNNI-2021-00054R000, Neustar LB document review against -00022R003Ken Politz (Neustar) presented this contribution, which is a detailed review of the previous contribution accepted towards the baseline, -00022R003. While the review was not done of the accepted baseline (-00021R003), only one difference was found when compared with the accepted baseline. Agreement Reached: This contribution was accepted as modified in -00054R001 for incorporation into the baseline. IPNNI-2021-00055R001, Proposed Editorial Updates to the ATIS-1000074v002 BaselineTerry Reese (Ericsson) presented this contribution, which contains proposed editorial updates to the ATIS-1000074.v002 baseline, as documented in IPNNI-2021-00021R003, in preparation for sending the specification for LB. Some of these proposed changes are superseded by the accepted changes in -00054R001, as indicated as the note in Clause 4.3.Agreement Reached: This contribution was accepted as modified in -00055R002 for incorporation into the baseline. IPNNI-2021-00066R002, Proposed update to ATIS-1000074Alec Fenichel (TransNexus) presented this contribution, which adds two notes: one about the CR URL caching behavior with a reference to RFC 7234, and another about CR URL caching requirements in order to help protect the STI-VS network from SSRF attacks. Also proposed is the addition of a file extension requirement to CR URLs. This contribution was noted as modified in -00066R003, with a letter ballot decision anticipated during tomorrow’s IP-NNI meeting. Mr. Wendt thanked participants for attending and adjourned the meeting at 2:00 PM ET on May 12, 2021. Mr. Wendt, IP-NNI TF Co-Chair, called the meeting to order and welcomed participants at 10:04 AM ET on May 12, 2021. IPNNI-2021-00021R004, Signature-based Handing of Asserted information using toKENs (SHAKEN) (revmarked)This is the revmarked baseline that incorporates the changes contained in -00054R001 and -00055R002, which were accepted during the IP-NNI meeting on May 12, 2021. This was accepted as modified as -00021R006. IPNNI-2021-00021R005, Signature-based Handing of Asserted information using toKENs (SHAKEN) (clean)This is the clean version of -00021R004. Agreement Reached: This contribution was accepted as the clean baseline. Participants discussed the path forward for this baseline: whether to approve it for letter ballot during this meeting or wait another meeting cycle to let participants review – especially given the significance of the changes proposed in -00066R005. A suggestion was made to approve the baseline for ATIS-1000074.v002 for letter ballot and immediately open a baseline for ATIS-1000074.v003 for further edits, considering the significant delays the ATIS-1000074.v002 has already undergone. A comment was made that the SSRF item is a significant item and participants should be given enough time to review that proposed change in detail. However, the issues surrounding cache control are urgent and something addressing cache control should be implemented given the impacts on call performance (that is also backwards compatible). The longer the wait until implementation, the bigger the backwards compatibility gap gets.Participants agreed that cache control and SSRF are important issues and deserve more than a rushed discussion while trying to move towards letter ballot approval, as there are documents are dependent on ATIS-1000074.v002. As these issues deserve a few more meeting cycles’ worth of discussion, -00066R004 could become the first contribution towards a new baseline for ATIS-1000074.v003. Agreement Reached: This clean baseline was approved for 30-day letter ballot. IPNNI-2021-00066R004, Proposed update to ATIS-1000074The same cache control and SSRF issues exist for ATIS-1000093, ATIS Standard on Toll-Free Numbers in the SHAKEN Framework. There was a suggestion: to withdraw this contribution and bring it against ATIS-1000093 and work it to conclusion. Once fully resolved, those changes can be reflected against ATIS-1000074.v003, to avoid working it twice. This contribution was noted. Robo-MetricsIPNNI-2018-00083R001, Robo-Metrics BaselineThis is the approved baseline. IPNNI-2021-00065R000, STIR/SHAKEN Metrics: What do we want to share and report?Chia Li (Comcast) presented this contribution, which is intended to start a discussion on common formats of reporting and operation information sharing.
