|Duties & |Reporting to the Assistant Director for Program Management, manage the planning, design, |

|Responsibilities |delivery, implementation, and evaluation of four multi-day, competency-based, Harvard |

| |Leadership Development Programs, and the Universal Manager Training program, design and |

| |deliver training classes as part of the Career and Professional Development (CPD) curriculum, |

| |conduct custom training classes for intact teams across the University; develop strategy and |

| |programs that support the learning and development of a highly qualified and diverse |

| |workforce. The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: |

| | |

| |· Manage all aspects of Leadership in Action , Foundations of Leadership, Leadership |

| |Strategies , and Leadership Essentials , including, nomination review, instructor selection |

| |and management, instructional design, training delivery, evaluation, best practice research, |

| |continuous improvement, directional alignment of curricula with department and University |

| |initiatives; |

| |· Manage the Universal Manager Training program including, roll out strategy implementation, |

| |pilot programs, instructional design, training delivery, instructor management, evaluation and|

| |continuous improvement; |

| |· Collaborate on content design with faculty across the University; |

| |· Deliver content training/facilitation to mid-to-senior managers; |

| |· Design and deliver custom classes, including collaborating with consultants and clients to |

| |identify training need, determine best training approach, and evaluate outcome; |

| |· Collaborate with CWD, HR, and other internal colleagues as needed for program development |

| |and strategic alignment of programs and services; |

| |· Analyze workforce trends, program evaluations, and best practice data to continuously |

| |improve program offerings; |

| |· Represent CWD on University and external committees; Oversee design and implementation of |

| |University-wide programs; |

| |· Other duties and projects as assigned. |

|Basic Qualifications |Bachelor’s degree required along with seven years of experience designing, delivering, |

| |implementing and evaluating management development programs., Must have extensive experience |

| |in curriculum development, competency analysis, instructional design, training delivery, and |

| |measuring effectiveness of training. Organizational, presentation, facilitation and analytic |

| |skills are essential. Must be able to build and maintain relationships with senior leaders and|

| |managers, as well as program faculty and instructors. Ability to manage multiple projects |

| |simultaneously and project management experience required. Must be able to work independently |

| |and as part of a team. |

|Additional |Master’s degree in training and development (or related area) preferred. |
