Acura Team Penske's 2019 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship title in the Daytona Prototype International (DPi) class continues a successful legacy of sports car racing that dates back to the beginning of Team Penske in 1966. The title represented the 11th sports car championship in team history, and it added to an impressive year that resulted in a team-record 40 wins, 43 pole positions and additional championships in INDYCAR and Australian Supercars for a cumulative total of 37 titles.
