Center for Instructional Support Program Catalog 2021-22DESE welcomes educators from across the state to participate in our 2021-22 network and workshop offerings, both in-person and online. Please check this space often for updates.These offerings are designed to support educators to advance teaching and learning across the Commonwealth. We are calling on classroom leaders, school leaders, and district leaders to join us and collaborate across districts to learn, to test and refine tools and strategies, and to innovate. This network will help leaders continue their implementation of the 2018 Framework through sharing resources and strategies and providing a space to connect and collaborate with others across the Commonwealth. While the focus of our work will be responsive to participant need, likely topics include culturally responsive practice, student-driven inquiry, vertical progression of standards, embedding civics across grades K-12, and news and media literacy. This introduction to the student-led civics projects is aimed at those who are new to the projects or looking for a refresher as they begin the school year. Each network meeting will focus one topic on racial equity as well as one topic on HQIM focus so that teachers can focus on constructivism and critical thinking instead of creating their own curriculum.
