COURT ORDERED COMMUNITY SERVICE AT GOODWILL STORE LOCATIONS

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry about how to complete your community service at our Goodwill stores. Our community service procedure has recently changed.

If you are interested in completing community service with Goodwill please have your Community Service Coordinator (CSC), email me a formal request for community service for you. If you are not participating in any of the services mentioned below, or do not have a CSC we are NOT able to accept you for community service at this time.

We are currently accepting community service requests from:

Work Service Programs/Coordinators Valid Community Service Programs U.S. Parole & Probation Officers Alternative Sentencing Programs

We are NOT accepting:

Self-requests/Unsupervised probation Community service requests from parents for minor children Court ordered community service requests from Public Defenders, Lawyers or Attorneys High school required or service learning hours requests Volunteer service requests

Please have your CSC attach the following to their formal request:

A court order proving that you have to complete community service or program worksheet if you are coming through a valid community service program or alternative sentencing program. Documents must state the violation or reason for the community service requirement.

A copy of your state ID Goodwill location where you would like to complete community service

Please note: You will not be allowed to complete community service at any Goodwill location until these are sent through one of the above mentioned programs. Also note that Goodwill has a strict policy that those accused of theft, armed robbery, robbery, burglary, or any sexually based offenses are not eligible to do community service at our locations. No exceptions will be made in this matter.
