The cover letter should be no longer than one page and should communicate why you are interested in the position as well as why you believe you are the best candidate for the position. Part Four: A Resume
Please attach and submit a current resume with your application. The resume should include employment experience, campus involvement, service experiences, relevant coursework, and special skills you have. Part Six: Short Essay
Essays should be approximately 500-750 words in length, typed, double-spaced, Times New Roman, with 12-point font and 1” margins. Please answer one essay; attach and submit your essay with this application.
1. Please describe an experience that exemplifies why service and community are important aspects of your life in general and your life at Saint Mary’s College and how this fellowship opportunity will be of value to you in the future.
2. Share a story that shows your ability to make a commitment for a period of time – what contributes to your success, how do you envision sustaining your weekly commitment to your community partner and to your living community? How does this fellowship opportunity fit into your overall life goals?
