LONG RANGE SHOOTING COMPETITION

„F-Class VOLLIT OPEN“

• COMPETITION PLACE: VOLLIT SHOOTING CENTER, Strazdai, Šiaulių region. Coordinates: 56.054995, 23.357769

• COMPETITION DATE AND TIME: 2019 m. November. 09th, 10.00 a.m.

• COMPETITION OPENING CEREMONY: 2019 m. November. 09th, 9.30a.m.

• SAFETY JOURNAL SIGNING AND GUN WEIGHING: 8.00-9.00a.m.

• REGISTRATION AND INFORMATION: Advanced registration will take place through our web site vollit.lt/varzybos/ and will be opened until 8th of November 3p.m. The payment for the competition should be made to VšĮ "VOLLIT šaudymo centras“ account LT92 4010 0442 0108 2112 LTL, LUMINOR bank, bank code40100. In the payment information section please provide the following: Entrance fee for the competition „F-Class VOLLIT OPEN“. Only participants who have paid the entrance fee will be displayed in the participants list. The payment will be doubled during the day of competition. The competition will be held in following divisions: SNIPER, SNIPER OPEN, SEMI-AUTO, F/O ir F/TR.

• TRAINING: All participants that are registered for the competition will have a possibility to train one day prior to the competition from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Training fee 7eur/h + targets.

• ENTRANCE FEE FOR ONE DIVISION: 40,00 euro.

• SHOOTING ORDER: The shooting order will be determined randomly. The same shooting positions will be held for all distances.

• Shooting distances: 300 m , 500 m , 660 m

• Targets: Targets below with X dimensions 1inch (2,54 cm) for 300m

1,5 inch -500 m and 2 inch -660 m target. Targets are divided into point zones from 10 to 5. (X zone is in the 10 point area) with measures 30cm for 300m 45cm for 500m and 60cm for 660m. All shots behind the 5 point area are counted as zero.

• Shooting order F/TR and F/OPEN: 3 test shots and 10 shots for record.

• SNIPER, SNIPER OPEN ir SEMI-AUTO: 10 shots for record in 10 minutes.

Note: The center of the targets is blue instead of black.

Equipment divisions:

• SNIPER division

• Shooting position: Prone, with a possibility to use one or two, rests that are not connected to each other. Front rest in a form of Bipod or a sling and back rest in a form of a shooting bag. The rest that is connected to the gun can‘t exceed 20cm in length in the front and 15cm in the back. No rifle part can touch the ground except a monopod that would be fixed instead of a shooting bag in the back of the gun. The shoulder of a shooter must at all times touch the recoil pad. Free recoil position is not allowed. The gun is loaded in single cartridges (The magazine may be inserted, but can‘t be loaded with cartridges Calibers 223Rem and 308Win. Overall weight of the gun (accessories included) can‘t exceed 8,25kg All types of scopes are allowed.

SNIPER Open division

• Shooting position: Prone, with a possibility to use one or two, rests that are not connected to each other. Bench rest type tripod in front and a shooting bag in the back. : No rifle part can touch the ground except a monopod that would be fixed instead of a shooting bag in the back of the gun. The shoulder of a shooter must at all times touch the recoil pad. Free recoil position is not allowed

• Gun: caliber can‘t exceed 8,6mm (.338 Lapua magnum is allowed) Total weight of the gun including the accessories can‘t exceed 12kg SEMI-AUTO division

• Shooting position: Prone, with a possibility to use one or two, rests that are not connected to each other. Front rest in a form of Bipod or a sling and back rest in a form of a shooting bag. The rest that is connected to the gun can‘t exceed 20cm in length in the front and 15cm in the back. No rifle part can touch the ground except a monopod that would be fixed instead of a shooting bag in the back of the gun. The shoulder of a shooter must at all times touch the recoil pad. Free recoil position is not allowed.

• GUN: Semi-automatic rifle that‘s caliber does not exceed 8,6mm and total weight is not more than 8,25kg with all accessories included. Besides accidental malfunctions the gun must be reloaded using automated gas or inertia systems. The rifle can be with a muzzle break. All types of scopes are allowed.

FTR division

• Shooting position: Prone, with a possibility to use one or two, rests that are not connected to each other. Front rest in a form of Bipod or a sling and back rest in a form of a shooting bag. The rest that is connected to the gun can‘t exceed 20cm in length in the front and 15cm in the back. No rifle part can touch the ground except a monopod that would be fixed instead of a shooting bag in the back of the gun. The shoulder of a shooter must at all times touch the recoil pad. Free recoil position is not allowed.

• GUN: Caliber 223 Rem or 308Win with weight not exceeding 8,25kg with all accessories included. The rifle is loaded with single cartridges, the magazine may be in the gun, but the gun has to be loaded manually with single cartridges. No restrictions to scopes.

OPEN division

• Shooting position: Prone, with a possibility to use one or two, rests that are not connected to each other. Bench rest type tripod in front and a shooting bag in the back. : No rifle part can touch the ground except a monopod that would be fixed instead of a shooting bag in the back of the gun. The shoulder of a shooter must at all times touch the recoil pad. Free recoil position is not allowed.

• Gun: caliber can’t exceed 8mm, with a gun that’s total weight with the scope not bigger than 10kg. The rifle is loaded with single cartridges, the magazine may be in the gun, but the gun has to be loaded manually with single cartridges. No restrictions to scopes.

Shooting procedure FTR and OPEN:

• From the time referee announces to „take out the guns “the participant has 4 minutes time to take the shooting position and positioning the rifle.

• 3 test shots will be fired in 3 minutes after the command „load and fire “from the referee.

• After the command „STOP ceasefire“ the shooters stand up and go away from their guns until the shots are marked and referee announces „you may get back to the shooting position“.

• Shooter has 2 minutes for scope corrections.

• After the command „Start firing “the shooting for points begins and lasts for 10 minutes.

• The shooter may have only the required amount of ammunition in his shooting position (total 13pcs – 3pcs for test shots and 10 pcs for the shooting)

• During the shooting, in the shooting zone and beyond, all spotting devices are not allowed as well as any other assistance from outside of the shooting area.

• Spotting scope can only be used by the shooter in the shooting position

• Two shooters using the same gun cannot shoot from the same position.

Shooting procedure SNIPER, SNIPER OPEN and SEMI-AUTO:

• From the time referee announces to „take out the guns “the participant has 4 minutes time to take the shooting position and positioning the rifle

• The shooter may have only the required amount of ammunition (10 pcs) in his shooting position.

• The shooter must inform the referee, by raising his hand, about an unfired cartridge. The bolt is opened only when referee comes to the rifle. Due to cartridge error, the referee may grant an additional cartridge for the shooter.

• After referee announces the “ceasefire” no shot can be made. The guns can be placed back to the cases only after the referee inspects that all the bolts are opened and the safety flags are inserted.

• After the command “start firing” the shooter has 10 minutes to make 10 shots to the target.

Scoring SNIPER, SNIPER OPEN, SEMI AUTO, FTR and OPEN divisions:

• Points in all distances are added together. If the amount of points is the same, the winner is determined by the amount of X hits

• In separate distances 300, 500 and 660m if the same amount of points is scored by different participants the higher place is awarded to the person with more X hits.

• If two participants have the same amount of points and same X amounts, the winner is determined by better shot group in all distances counted in MOA.

• 1 MOA = 8,73 cm – 300 m, 14,55cm – 500 m distance and 19,2 mm – 660 m distance.

Safety

• Each participant must obey the safety rules and regulations of the competition.

• Participant must follow all orders from the referee.

• After making tests shots, and also after completing firing each participant must place the safety flag into the bolt in order to show the referee that the gun is not loaded and safe.

• The gun can be taken from the shooting position only after the referee allows to do so.

Basic requirements:

• All participants, during the day of competition, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. must go through the technical control of the gun and gun weighing. F/TR division participants must bring the gun with bipods mounted.

• After the technical control the gun will be marked with a competition sticker. Participants without the sticker will not be able to participate in the competition.

• The referee may penalize the participants by showing yellow card (warning) green card – 2 points towards the final score and red card – disqualification. Making a shot before the command START or after command STOP may result in a red card.

Participation:

• A participant can participate in several divisions, SNIPER, SNIPER OPEN, SEMI-AUTO, FTR and OPEN. If willing to participate in different divisions a participant must register fore ach division separately. The participation fee is increasing accordingly.

• The confirmation to the competition is the payment made for the starting fee.

FTR division participants who‘s full gun weight will be higher than required will have a possibility to participate in Open division.

Awards:

SNIPER division:

• Medals are awarded for 1-3 place winners for each division.

• In overall results 1-6 place winners are awarded with medals.

• In overall results 1-3 place winners are awarded with competition cups.

SNIPER OPEN division:

• Medals are awarded for 1-3 place winners for each division.

• In overall results 1-6 place winners are awarded with medals.

• In overall results 1-3 place winners are awarded with competition cups.

SEMI AUTO division:

• Medals are awarded for 1-3 place winners for each division.

• In overall results 1-6 place winners are awarded with medals.

• In overall results 1-3 place winners are awarded with competition cups.

F/TR division:

• Medals are awarded for 1-3 place winners for each division.

• In overall results 1-6 place winners are awarded with medals.

• In overall results 1-3 place winners are awarded with competition cups.

F/O division:

• Medals are awarded for 1-3 place winners for each division.

• In overall results 1-6 place winners are awarded with medals.

• In overall results 1-3 place winners are awarded with competition cups.

- Special prize will be awarded to a shooter with best shot group in all distances. A lottery will take place after the competition where the participants will be able to win various prizes.

- All participants will be granted a free lunch .
