Best Teacher Under The Sun Award acknowledges outstanding ...

Dear Educators,

Sun East Charitable Foundation is now offering the "Best Teacher Under The Sun" award for teachers in the Greater Brandywine Valley for the school year ending in June.

We recognize the importance of educators who are role models for young people and demonstrate excellence in creating a motivating learning environment for their students. The Best Teacher Under The Sun Award acknowledges outstanding achievements of a teacher in his/her performance in daily classroom activities, special projects, or exemplary efforts to inspire students to reach beyond their grasp.

One winning teacher will be selected for each level of education: high school, middle school, and elementary school. An award of $1,000 will be presented to each recipient.

School faculty, administrators, students, and parents may submit nominations for teachers. Nomination forms can be found on the Foundation's website at suneastfoundation\teacher&studentawards and submitted by May 1st. Our teacher award committee will review the applications and determine three award recipients.
