Monday, August 12:

Depart Indianapolis for our flight to Vancouver. Upon arrival, we will transfer from the airport to board the JEWEL.

Positioned between the snow-dusted North Shore mountains and the rich blue waters of the Pacific Ocean, Vancouvr blends big-city sophistication with small town charm.

We depart from Vancouver at 4:00 pm for our journey up the inside passage

Tuesday, August 13: The Inside Passage

Sail from Vancouver for a fascinating adventure. Cruise the

Inside Passage and gaze at the spectacular scenery of Glacier

Bay. Get a chance to see diverse wildlife, such as whales and

brown bears. Round out this exciting holiday with an optional

train ride on the White Pass and Yukon Route in Skagway.

Wednesday, August 14: Ketchikan

Arrive 7:00 a.m. Depart 4:00 p.m.

This morning we awake to find ourselves in

Ketchikan, Alaska. Its Tlingit Indian name, Kch

khanna, means “spread the wings of eagles.”

Chances are you'll see one of these magnificent

birds perched atop a Sitka tree. Thanks to its

abundant rainfall, Ketchikan is surrounded by

some of the world's most lush wilderness.

Thursday, August 15: Juneau Arrive 11:00 a.m. Depart 9:00 p.m.

Juneau has been called “Alaska's peak experience” certainly due in part to its unparalled glacier viewing from places as Tracy Ar Fjord, the Juneau Icefields and Glacier Bay National Park. Take an optional Kayak tour up one of the area's many protected waterways, go flightseeinng, tour historic downtown or try your hand at panning for gold.

Friday, August 16: Skagway Arrive at 8:00 a.m. Depart at 8:00 p.m.

In a single year, from 1896 to 1897, this remote town along the Inside Passage grew from a few tents to a

city of 20,000 gold seekers. Today, travelers come in search of other riches – to experience yesteryear

along Skagway's charming boardwalk lined with buildings that replicate those Gold Rush Days.

Saturday August 17: Cruise Glacier Bay

Sail to Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve, a United Nations World Heritage site. Comprised of 3.3

million acres of natural wonders,, it is home to magnificent glaciers, snow-capped mountains and

abundant birds and wildlife. Take an Alaska cruise to experience the magnificent glaciers and wildlife at

the Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve.

Sunday, August 18: Cruise Hubbard Glacier

Get up close and personal with the gigantic Hubbard Glacier, North America's largest tidewater glacier. It is 1350 square miles of blue ice and one of the most active in Alaska.

Monday, August 19: Seward, Alaska Arrive at 5:00 a.m.

Best known for its beautiful parks and mountain scenery,

Seward is not to be missed. There is nearly an endless

variety of outdoor activities to enjoy in Seward. Enjoy scenic

hiking trails or enjoy a picnic among the pristine landscape.

For those departing today, you will transfer from Seward to

Anchorage to catch your flight home.

This incredible journey includes:

Airfare from Indianapolis to Vancouver with return flight from Anchorage

Transfers to the Cruise Port in Vancouver with bus transport from Seward to Anchorage airport.

DENALI EXTENSION

Monday, August 19: Welcome to Seward!

Upon arrival, we will meet our private guide/driver who will transport us north to Talkeetna on the Seward Highway and along scenic Turnagain Arm, designated an All-American Road. From jagged peaks and alpine meadows to breathtaking fjords and crystal lakes, you will find a concentrated series of diverse landscapes and experiences.

Past Anchorage, we continue to Talkeetna via the the Parks Highway,driving through the mountain rimmed Matanuska-Susitna Valley, also considered to be one of the most important agricultural areas in Alaska. The valley is rimmed by three major mountain ranges: the Alaska Range, the Talkeetna and the Chugach Mountains. The surrounding mountains include many mountain passes, as well as working and abandoned gold mines.

The town of Talkeetna is located approximately 115 road miles north of Anchorage, about 14 miles off the Parks Highway at the end of the Talkeetna Spur Road. Upon arrival in Talkeetna, you will have the remainder of the day free to explore on your own.

We will check into the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge for the night. Dinner is on your own.

Tuesday, August 20: Denali National Park

This morning, we continue traveling north on the Parks Highway to Denali, driving through the rest of the Mat-Su Valley. At six million acres, Denali National Park is one of the world’s last great frontiers for wilderness adventure.

This afternoon, depart on a bus tour into the heart of the park for the best opportunities to view and photograph wildlife such as moose, caribou, Dall sheep and grizzly bears. Weather permitting, you

may get a glimpse of the park’s other famous attraction, Denali. At 20,310 feet, Denali is North America’s highest peak. A picnic lunch will be provided. Overnight at the Grande Denali Lodge

Wednesday, August 21: Denali to Anchorage

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel this morning before boarding the Alaska Railroad for the picturesque journey to Anchorage. You will be seated in deluxe domed rail cars that offer panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and potential wildlife sightings. On the lower level of the rail car, enjoy a full-service dining room. Your meals and all non-alcoholic beverages are included for all passengers, as well as two complimentary adult beverages for passengers over 21. Upon arrival into Anchorage this evening, a private transfer will be provided to your hotel. Overnight at the Captain Cook Hotel

Thursday, August 22: Depart Anchorage

After breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer to the Anchorage International Airport in time for our departure flight.

This extension includes:

Bus transportation from Seward to Denali

Train accommodations, including lunch and dinner on the trip from Denali to Anchorage

Daily Breakfasts

Transfer to airport in Anchorage.

Price is based upon cash or check payments. Payment by credit card will incur an additional fee of 3.5%.

Payment Schedule:

A deposit of $500.00 per traveler will be due by September 1, 2018.

An additional payment of $2500.00 will be due February 15, 2019.

Final Payment as invoiced will be due May 1, 2019.

Additional Deposit of $250.00 per traveler if the extension is chosen.

Cancellation:

Once you have made a payment, If you must cancel before 120 days prior to the trip, you will be entitled to a full refund. Between 120 days and 45 days prior to the trip, you will be entitled to a refund of the total trip cost less the cost of the airline ticket and any non refundable deposits paid to hotels and other vendors. If you cancel less than 30 days prior, there will be no refund. Cancellations after 120 days will incur a $200 administrative fee.

Trip Insurance:

It is recommended that trip insurance be purchased to protect the cost of the trip in case of a last minute emergency. To cover pre-existing conditions, trip insurance must be purchased within 14 days of the initial deposit. Once you have placed a deposit for this trip, I will provide you with a brochure that you may choose to use.

Baggage: Most airlines allow for one free checked bag on international flights. You will be charged for a second checked bag. Please check the website for specific prices. You will be allowed a small carry on and one personal bag. Please be sure you meet the specifications for the carry on bag so you are not surprised with a charge at check in.

Selection of Vendors: Travel to Remember, LLC will use the following guidelines for the selection of international and domestic land and air suppliers. All suppliers will be chosen from those recommended by other known and trusted vendors in our industry. We will look for suppliers that have a proven track record for safety and a reputation for being the most experienced local receptive operators. Suppliers will be expected to comply with all local insurance and licensing regulations. One of the tour managers from Travel to Remember will accompany all excursions to make sure that the suppliers provides the best in service and customer response.
