STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Until now, technology has perpetuated itself not by giving the average person more time to pursue humane concerns but by increasing efficiency. Communications is an industry that has played an important role in increasing the efficiency of an average person. In a very short time it has changed the way we looked at things since centuries. It is one industry that is going to shape our future for centuries to come. Keeping up an inquisitive and explorative attitude I believe leads to a constant learning process. This approach adds to the already immense potential for innovation that exists in this field. Hence my desire to masters in Electrical Engineering with Communications as my major.

My interest in electronics had aroused when still in high school. Hence engineering with electronics as my major was the first choice for my undergraduate studies. The subject that I studied included Linear Electronics Digital Electronics, Data Communication, Microprocessor. My undergraduate studies already focus on the communication aspect of electronics.

I look to graduate study to refine my knowledge and skills in my area of interest. A masters degree in electrical engineering with communications as major is the next step in adding to my field of interest and gaining insights in the vast potentials of communications. Learning gives me a world of satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment. The more I learn, the more fulfilled I feel. I do not solely learn to apply my knowledge and the challenge of learning that motivates me. I also believe that graduate study will also serve in giving me direction towards my career as a research professional at an academic of research oriented organization.

Not all my four years of undergraduate studies were devoid of shortcomings. I learnt the most important lesson of my life that the basis for success are the attitude, self-reliance and more importantly time management. I was the member of student council acting as a class representative. As a class representative I learnt to accept both criticism and praise with positive frame of mind. I also acquired the skills of working in groups, interacting with various students and faculty and also organizing different events. I did my final year project at Tata Institute Of Fundamental Research under Mr Subhash Lokhre. The project included designing and implementation of liquid helium placed level sensor used for detecting the level of liquid helium placed inside the tank. There I got a chance to interact with research professionals and insight in to the world of research.

With my demonstrated aptitude for electrical engineering, I am confident that your University will hone my skills and help me in achieving my objectives. India is a developing country and its growth in Information Technology has been tremendous. To serve the needs of this developing country and more importantly its vast population, communications is to become of utmost importance. Thus conditions here are very conducive to supplement my aspirations when I return after completing my graduate studies.

EEC: Changing Lives: One Student at a Time

Dear International Student Candidate:

Thank you for your interest in , a web portal owned by EEC- International Student Recruitment.

EEC, a US-based company, was founded on the principle that higher education in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia should be more accessible to hard-working, serious-minded students. Hence, through tireless effort and dedication, we have been able to recruit hundreds of students to top colleges and universities in the aforementioned nations each year. Students just like you!

No, it’s not magic. We simply have, through experience, developed the expertise necessary to generate results! What does EEC get out of this, you ask? As a non-profit organization, we do not seek profit in the tangible sense. Helping students make their study-abroad dreams a REALITY is something that does not require financial compensation! As our motto states: Changing Lives, One Student at a Time, IS our compensation and is something that cannot be bought or sold. We hope you will agree.

EEC and offer a wide variety of services targeted exclusively to you, the potential international student. Still interested? We feel that you WILL be upon learning of our GUARANTEED Admissions services! That’s right. GUARANTEED. As we work with over 100 colleges and universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, we are able to offer this incomparable service to you for a nominal processing fee of Rs.5000 or US$100! All you have to do is fill out a SINGLE application, send us the necessary documents, and you’re all set. Our professional counselors will then evaluate, based on your test scores, academic performance, and goals, which of our member colleges and/or universities is right for you. It’s that simple! Through EEC, you’re saving time and money, as we are very aware of the expenses incurred at the hands of application fees alone! Besides, you are GUARANTEED at least one admission or your processing fee will be refunded in its entirety. Few college applicants can say that. Why take the unnecessary risk of filling out tons of paperwork with outrageous application fees when EEC can do the legwork FOR you! What can be better than knowing that your study-abroad aspirations will come to fruition? If things don’t work in your favor, you always have our money-back guarantee. In short, you have nothing to lose and, possibly, everything to gain! Your success is EEC’s success. You can bank on that.

Most EEC students are interested in financial aid for their studies abroad. As such, it is difficult to get scholarships and the like in the first year. Even so, as EEC applies to colleges/universities FOR you, we also apply for scholarships on your behalf. Studying abroad is an expensive proposition and we do our level best to acquire aid for you providing that you are qualified to receive it. However, we cannot stress enough how difficult it is for first-year international students to receive scholarships and other forms of financial aid. You must be willing and prepared to finance your studies in their entirety out-of-pocket.

Though some of our member schools do not require the SAT, GRE, or GMAT, be prepared (if you haven’t already) to take the TOEFL. US colleges and universities require this test for all students who are not native speakers of the English language. Proficiency in English is a NECESSITY when considering the study-abroad proposition. If, thus far, you haven’t taken the TOEFL, do so as soon as possible. We urge you to do the best you can as colleges and universities take this score into consideration when making a decision on whether to accept or reject your application. Also be aware that admissions are STILL available for the coming semester so the sooner you take the necessary test(s), the better.

If you have any questions, view our website or e-mail us. We are here to serve you!

Sincerely,

EEC, USA
