Cara Peck

As the head of Enterprise Talent Planning and Development Services, Cara Peck leads the corporate center of excellence for leadership and professional development, the enterprise office for talent planning, performance management, enterprise learning administration and team member engagement. She and her team are responsible for developing and implementing the strategies, programs and infrastructure to support the development, engagement and effectiveness of Wells Fargo team members.

Cara has worked in the financial services arena for over 25 years and with Wells Fargo since 1999. Prior to joining Corporate Human Resources in 2011, Cara was the head of Intermediary Sales for Wells Fargo’s Asset Management Group, and president of Wells Fargo Funds Distributor, where she was responsible for the distribution of mutual funds through national, regional and independent broker/dealers. Prior to that, Cara led the Marketing and e-Business team for Wells Fargo Funds Management.

Throughout her career, Cara has been called upon to speak to industry, corporate and educational audiences on a wide range of leadership and financial topics, with particular expertise in the area of women and generations. Cara chairs Wells Fargo’s Talent Stewardship Council. She is the executive sponsor for Wells Fargo’s My Generation Team Member Network and has also chaired several diversity councils.

Cara earned her bachelor’s degree in business management from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, California and has held FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses. She is a member of the United Way Women’s Leadership Council and co-leads the New Talent Management Bay Area group.

Cara has been recognized by the North Bay Business Journal with their Women in Business award for her leadership, innovation and community service and by the San Francisco Business Times as one of the most influential business women in the Bay Area. She and her husband, Jeffrey, live in Marin County with their daughters Ava and Mattea.
