Thanks! You voted and helped us to select the trips for 2020. We hope you will find them entertaining, educational and fun. We ask that you take time to read the policies and procedures outlined below.

Anne Arundel County Senior Center Trip Rules

1.

ALL TRIPS ARE OPEN TO SENIOR CENTER MEMBERS. CURRENT KEY TAGS MUST BE SHOWN WHEN REGISTERING FOR A TRIP..

2.

Participants must be self-sufficient to go on trips. The Senior Center Manager may require a physician's certification to approve travel.

3.

Anyone who exhibits inappropriate behavior must be approved by the Senior Center Director before traveling.

4.

Registration and seat assignments will commence upon receipt of the required deposit. Checks are preferred. Seat assignments will be the responsibility of the

Trip Coordinator. If after two weeks you have not paid your deposit, your seat will be released.

5.

All monies are non-refundable unless a replacement can be found from the waiting list. Certain exceptions will be handled on a case by case basis by

Senior Center Staff.

6.

Participants must furnish their own transportation to and from meeting points.

7.

Absolutely no smoking or alcoholic beverages on the buses.

8.

Trip participants will sign a Release of Liability form before each trip.

9.

All trip participants will be issued name tags. These name tags will identify them as members of the group which sponsored the trip. There should also be two

phone numbers on the name tags. One number will be the cell phone number of the trip coordinator. The second number should be that of the Senior Center

or Department of Aging. In addition, all trip participants should carry an index card with their name, address and emergency contact. It should also include

medication information.

10.

Buses will not wait for anyone. Participants must adhere to scheduled arrival and departure times. Should you become separated from the group while on a trip,

use the information on your name tag to call your trip coordinator or your Senior Center.

11.

Participants should: Avoid contaminating others on trip day by staying at home when suffering from communicable illnesses (e.g. flu, colds, etc.).

Avoid causing allergic or other adverse reactions by not using strong or excessive fragrances. Be flexible. Under special circumstances be prepared to

accommodate roommates and/or seatmates as assigned.

Deposits/Payments

1.

Seats will be reserved upon receipt of the required deposit. Initial deposits must be made in person during the hours specified on the front

page. These hours are subject to change. We will post any changes at the Center and on our web page.

2.

Once a deposit has been made on a particular trip or trips, you may mail additional payments.

Please address envelope to: Trip Committee, Annapolis Senior Activity Center, 119 South Villa Avenue,

Annapolis, MD 21401. Please be sure to specify what trip(s) you are paying on. A receipt will be mailed to

you.

3.

If any special accommodations are needed, it is the responsibility of the traveler to inform the Trip Coordinator at the time of the initial

deposit.

4.

Full payment is due on the specified date. If final payment is not received by the due date, the Trip Committee has the authority to

cancel your reservation. It is not the responsibility of the Trip Committee to notify you of the final payment due dates. Please mark your

calendars.

5.

All trips include all taxes and gratuities.

6.

Checks are the preferred method of payment. Make payable to: ASI.

Departures/Returns/Parking

1.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before departure time. The bus will depart as scheduled.

2.

Return times to the Center are approximate. Please plan accordingly!

3.

Because of our location and out of courtesy. We ask that you observe the following "guidelines" when you go on our trips:

Day Trips...Please park at the far end of the parking lot and walk up to the Senior Center, as you know the center parking lot can get quite full.

Extended Trips...Parking at the Senior Center will not be allowed. Please make appropriate arrangements to be dropped off and picked up.

Hunterdon Hills Playhouse

"The Irish Cabaret"

Come celebrate St. Patrick's Day early with the Annapolis Senior Activity Center at the Hunterdon Hills Playhouse located on a 90-acres country estate. The sights and sounds of Ireland come alive in "The Irish Cabaret.' Starring Andy Cooney, "The Irish Cabaret" is a celebration of Ireland's music, song, comedy and dance. Featuring Eimear Reynolds and Gary Wilson, the Guinness Irish Band made up of the greatest Irish and Irish American musicians on the music scene today and World Class Irish Dancers who are decorated with some of the most prestigious awards in the dancing world. Before the show, enjoy a delicious luncheon served at your table. The dining menu features freshly prepared entrees made with the finest ingredients available and to celebrate "The Irish Cabaret" an additional menu choice of traditional corned beef and cabbage will be added to the menu.
