2/2018 - present Behavioral Health Clinician – Strong Integrated Behavioral Health – Eugene OR Service delivery of a full spectrum of treatment focusing on complex trauma and substance use disorders, co-occurring MH/SUD, pain management and Medication-Assisted Treatment.

2012 - 2018 Behavioral Health Clinician, Manager for Training and QA – Lutheran Community Services Klamath Falls OR Program development and provision of full-spectrum co-occurring disorder treatment for participants in a rural methamphetamine Drug Court diversion treatment program. 2001 - 2006 Clinical Director – Phillips Ayagnirvik Treatment Center [Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation] Program redesign interweaving Western research-based Treatment modalities (e.g. ASAM, Prochaska Stages of Change Model, 12 Step) and traditional Yupik Cultural teachings. Responsible for Clinical supervision and day-to-day operations of 16-bed ASAM Level III.5 Residential Program, Level II.5 Day Hospital and Level I Outpatient & Continuing Care. Program design & implementation of Bethel Therapeutic Court & Nutagluuni culturally-based Adolescent Treatment Programs.

1999-2001 Program Director - Kuskokwim Native Association Community Counseling Programs. Design of Behavioral Health Program to integrate western therapeutic techniques with traditional Yupic cultural heritage. Administrative & Clinical Supervision of 7 Staff positions. Provision of direct clinical services to Village of Aniak, and 8 outlying Native villages of the middle Kuskokwim & Yukon Rivers by small plane, boat, snow machine & TeleCounseling technology. Secured $ 200,000 in new Grant Awards in one 12 month period.

1999 Mental Health Therapist & Addictions Counselor - Colorado West Regional Mental Health Center. Generalist services in a rural Outpatient Clinic, including adult general mental health, chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, DUI services, and domestic violence. Designed & implemented DUI Treatment Program to State DOT specifications.

1998 Clinical Director: Navajo Nation Tse` nani`’ a` hi` - Rainbow Bridge Residential Treatment Center Program design, start-up and implementation of the first Residential Treatment Facility for the Navajo Nation which met State licensing and Medicaid regulations. Clinical supervision of both Substance Abuse and Traditional Counselors. Treatment paradigm is an interwoven tapestry of state-of-the-art Western treatment modalities with Navajo Traditional Healing and the wisdom traditions of other First American Nations.

Complete management and clinical responsibility for Program design & start-up of a $2.7 million managed care public/private partnership for dealing with chronic alcoholics & addicts, largely Native American. Successfully wrote a $3 million Grant for innovative services to homeless substance abusers.
