Time to go `Magnet fishing'. You will need a magnet and a variety of objects. Use the worksheet to help you conduct an experiment using your magnet. 4. If you'd like to learn more about magnets, there are some optional activities on the next page.
GEOGRAPHY Why Do We Use Maps? A grid helps you to find places on a map.
Always read across (x axis) then down (y axis). A way to remember the two axes is by saying `x is to the left, and y is to the sky'. The x-axis goes left and right, the y-axis goes up and down - and just like the alphabet, when you record coordinates, `x' comes before `y' (x,y).
Viewing the map tasks, record the grid coordinates and then place the animals in the correct grid squares.
Review your work using the answers provided.

GENIUS HOUR Teach Me Something! This afternoon we want you to be the teacher and create your own lesson!
Think about something that you can teach the class. Are you a Lego master? A dancing star? A mini chef? An engineer? An artist? A musician? A train enthusiast?
Your `lesson' can be presented in a variety of ways. You could film yourself, write a procedure, make a powerpoint presentation or create a Kahoot quiz!
