There were 104 newborns recruited into this study, 69 males (66.3%). 80 infants (76.9%) were born at 37 or more weeks of gestation age. Serum bilirubin levels were between 20 – 24.9 mg/dL in 65 infants (62.5%). 94.2% of infants had reached their peak bilirubin levels after 24 hours of age, and 29.8% reached their peak after 96 hours. ................
