Improved measures of individual and collective agency and gender norms are available for use and included in large-scale surveys and national service statistics. Better measures of work are incorporated in Labor Force Surveys/Living Standards Measurement Study. A light time use model is available for use. Foundational research to understand what matters for WEE. New analysis and insights generated on women’s labor force participation, productivity, and earnings to deepen understanding of enablers and barriers for WEE, with data and evidence in the hands of key development actors and used to shape policies and programs.Policy and program evidence hubs. Novel in-country research and evaluation in focal geographies on women’s work, entrepreneurship, and constraints to work—by in-country researchers in partnership with government—are informing policies and programs.Evidence use and amplification. Increased use of gender data and evidence by advocates, journalists, and policymakers, driven through improved quality, translation, and accessibility of data. Increased alignment and action on policies and programs that work to promote WEE. Increased number of donors and funding available for gender data.
