SIN 899-8: REMEDIATION SERVICES

ERI will provide the full range of methods and technologies supporting activities necessary for

Remediation Services to the extent allowed by the Service Contract Act under FAR 37.3 in

accordance with host nation, federal, state, and/or local statutes and regulations. Remediation

Services include, but are not limited to, excavation, removal, remediation related laboratory testing, transportation, storage, treatment and/or disposal of hazardous waste. Also, preparation,

characterization, field investigation, conservation and site closures; wetland restoration, emergency response, UST/AST removal, air monitoring, soil vapor extraction, stabilization/solidification, bioventing, carbon absorption, reactive walls, containment, monitoring, and/or reduction of hazardous waste sites as well as ordnance removal and support. Remediation contractors shall conform to environmental permits, decision document requirements or other legal requirements. Examples include, but are not limited to: excavation, removal, manifesting, transportation, storage, treatment (on-site and off-site), and/or disposal of hazardous waste. ERI’s Remediation Services capabilities include:

Principal

Includes Principal Hydrogeologist, Principal Engineer, Principal Environmental Scientist, and Officer of ERI. Final review and approval on documents that legally bind the organization. Participates in client and regulatory meetings on a limited and as needed basis, only. Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in consulting, industry, or government agencies. Minimum B.S. Degree in Engineering/Geology or related field.

Program Manager

Corporate responsibility to ensure regional program issues are addressed and communicated throughout the organization (e.g., OIMS, Health & Safety, Drug & Alcohol). Participates in key client and regulatory meetings as appropriate. Assures consistency among consultant offices and personnel as well as performance for multiple offices and geographies. Minimum 5 years experience. Minimum B.S. Degree in Engineering/Geology or related field.

Sr. Project Manager

Includes Sr. Hydrogeologist, Sr. Engineer, Sr. Environmental Scientist, and Sr. Technical manager. Provides high-end technical support on complex projects. Senior client involvement and senior oversight of remediation projects, regulatory negotiations, and staff development. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in consulting, industry, or government agencies. Minimum B.S. Degree in Engineering/Geology or related field.

Project Manager

Includes Project Hydrogeologist, Project Engineer, Project Environmental Scientist, and Technical Manager. Oversees all duties involved with managing a portfolio of cases. Involved in client communications, financial case management, and high-level technical problem solving, and recommendations. Oversees the development, and review financial and technical aspects of work created by support staff. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in consulting, industry, or government agencies. Minimum B.S. Degree in Engineering/Geology or related field.

Sr. Staff Hydrogeologist/Engineer

Includes Staff Hydrogeologist, Staff Engineer, and Staff Environmental Hydrogeologist. Performs site investigation activities, remedial system design and operation oversight, and permitting. Develops and implements site-specific work plans. Manages all financial (budget, cost projections), technical (work plans, strategies, case reviews), and field (health and safety, drilling, scheduling, oversight) aspects of specific case projects. Serves as the main project liaison for interdisciplinary groups and for the client Territory/Project Manager. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Working toward professional registration. Minimum educational requirements are a B.S. Degree in Engineering/Geology or related field.

Staff Hydrogeologist/Engineer

Includes Engineer, Geologist, and Environmental Scientist. Assignments may include field investigations, monitoring well installation, aquifer evaluation, permitting, report preparation, monitoring and sampling activities, operations and maintenance support, excavation activities, etc. – all accomplished under supervision. Entry Level with a minimum educational requirement of a B.S. Degree in Engineering/Geology or related field.

Sr. Technician

Manages O&M scheduling and activities. Troubleshoots complex remediation problems and provides senior project oversight and technical direction. Minimum educational requirements are High School Diploma or equivalent.

Technician

Performs environmental sampling, data collection, well gauging/bailing, laboratory Chain-of-Custody, and system installation involvement under supervision. Manages short-term remediation events and operates testing equipment. Minimum educational requirements are High School Diploma or equivalent. Entry Level position.

Administrator

Performs basic word processing, spreadsheet and software applications, clerical support, records/file maintenance, and expedites the flow of work. Duties may include, data entry, general project administration and paperwork, report production, and mailing. Minimum educational requirements are High School Diploma or equivalent. Graphics Support
