Students can take either CHEM/MBIO 2770 (Elements of Biochemistry 1) or CHEM/MBIO 2360 (Biochemistry 1: Bio-molecules and an Introduction to Metabolic Energy). Students can take either CHEM/MBIO 2780 (Elements of Biochemistry 2) or CHEM/MBIO 2370 (Biochemistry 2: Catabolism, Synthesis, and Information Pathways). Note that CHEM/MBIO 2360 and CHEM/MBIO 2370 have different prerequisites.3. Students can take either BIOL 1412 (Physiology of the Human Body) or BIOL 2410 (Human Physiology 1) and BIOL 2420 (Human Physiology 2). The additional 3 credit hours will be used towards free electives.4. Students can apply for the Cooperative Education Program. Two work terms are required to graduate with Co-op designation. Co-op courses (3 credit hours) are used towards free electives.Students interested in Dietetics need to apply to the Nutrition Option and complete the Dietetics Preparation.
