I recently needed to brush up on my Biology. (I had Bio in college.) After a horrible experience with the mistake-riddled Barron's Biology the Easy Way, I decided to give this book a try. Especially since time was of the essence.The format of this book is great. You get all the info you need in a very clear, direct, concise way. Lots of charts, lots of diagrams, and lots of test questions make learning very simple and quick.Whether you need a quick review of your Biology concepts like me, or you are struggling in your Biology class, this book can help you out.

This review book for high school Biology is a great review resource filled with hundreds of practice questions. There are also loads of diagrams and charts that make studying the material much easier and less time consuming.

I used to book to help me study for my high school biology tests. The questions are helpful because they helped me to focus on the important topics in biology. I also found the following to be great references.The Ultimate Study Guide for Biology: Key Review Questions and Answers with Explanations volume 1 and volume 2The questions in the last two study guides helped me to test myself for what I did or didn't know before taking my exams. It proved to be quite helpful since I passed with ease. These three books are very helpful!

My 10th grade son was haveing a very hard time in Biology. I got this book to help us study and his grades came up and he understood more.

I took the CLEP exam for biology, and this was the best book for studying. The chapters on how a cell works, functions of the organelles, and the study of genetics were in line with the exam. This book was worth the investment.

This book, by far, is the most beginning Biology book you'll probably ever own. Very concise, up to date, comprehensive book that can be used as a supplemental or an a stand-alone.

I wouldn't use this as a stand alone (getting Barron's Biology Flash Cards is a must) study guide but it helped a TON with the exam. I never took biology in highschool so this was a great read, very detailed, and the practice exams after every chapter helps you recall the information. I would also check out Khan's Academy online for a free resource to your biology exam news whether its a CLEP, SAT, or AP.

Its fine book for secondary school students as well as for private candidate and i would like to recommend to other users
