The LEA uses a common framework (birth to grade 12) to instruct and assess literacy ensuring a consistent approach across subject areas and age/grade levels.The LEA implements with fidelity a research-based core literacy curriculum to ensure students meet the Standards.Reading, writing, speaking, and listening are systematically integrated throughout the day in all subject areas.Students are provided with exemplary writing samples, assessment rubrics, real-world writing tasks, writing in response to reading and oral and written feedback.
