What is Healthy Families Wicomico?

Healthy Families Wicomico is a home visitation program that supports and assists parents to promote health, learning and development in their young children. Services are voluntary and offered before the infant is born until the child is age five.

Who is eligible?

Women living in Wicomico County who are pregnant or have had a baby in the past 2 months. Families can receive services through the child's 5th birthday.

Parents are entitled to decide what their needs are and what services and programs they want to take part in.

Children deserve to grow up in healthy, safe, loving families.

Preventing problems is better than fixing them.
