A short listing of some Angel Spells

Casting spells can be done by praying, chanting, singing, rhyming, speaking [out loud or inside your head] and/or writing out – in other words, visualizing and focusing in on the need. A good time to cast a spell is during the waxing moon [from New Moon to Full Moon]. Waxing moons are “growing” – helping your spell grow. However, a beautiful, sunny day is just as appropriate. Try to make sure that when you “do” your spell, you are as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

Prosperity

- The most powerful way to help your prosperity is to pray to your own guardian angel[s]. But who are your guardian angels? Traditional belief is that if you have any family or loved ones who have passed into the light, they are your guardian angels. [It's quite likely that at some point in your life you've felt your grandfather or grandmother or another loved one close by. Well, guess what? It's absolutely true. They are close by your side.]

- But the guardian angels of the Heavenly Host also can come to your aid when you try to help your prosperity along. You can know your heavenly guardian angels by listening to the inner voice that never steers you wrong. Place your trust in that inner voice of intuition and dreams.

Another way to help your prosperity along is to pray to 3 of the 7 planetary angels.

- The Archangel Michael, in his role as a planetary angel, rules abundance, money, and growth. His planetary colours are gold and yellow and his stone [metal] is gold. His planet is the Sun.

- The Archangel Raphael, in his role as a planetary angel, rules business, contracts, and buying and selling. His planetary colour is orange and his stones are quicksilver [mercury] and aluminum. His planet is Mercury.

- Sadkiel [Zadkiel, Tzadkiel], in his role as a planetary angel, rules prosperity, abundance, expansion, generosity, banks, and loans. His planetary colour is electric blue and his stones are tin and zinc. His planet is Jupiter. [By the way, it probably won't hurt when you pray to Sadkiel to do it with a smile - he's also the angel of joviality.]

[Michael, Raphael, and Sadkiel are also known as Sarim [Prince Regents of Heaven & includes all of the Archangels] in the angel hierarchy. Anytime you have a Sarim involved in a spell, you have added energy and synergy.]

Calming

- Pray to the Archangel Raphael in the north, thinking of spring. He is the universal healer and an angel of joy and light. He can be asked to heal the hurt and pain of your stress and of being overwhelmed.

- Pray to the Archangel Uriel in the south, thinking of autumn. He is invoked against suffering and for mental clarity.

- Pray to Camael as the Planetary Angel of Mars. He rules all human difficulties and his planetary colour is red.

Focusing and Concentration

There actually aren’t any angels that are specifically guardians of concentrating or focusing; however, the following angels should, at least, be able to help.

- Archangel Michael rules mental power.

- Archangel Raphael is the angel of wisdom and science.

- Archangel Uriel is the angel of mental clarity.

- Hararel of the Shemhamphora is in charge of libraries and archives.

- Urizen, one of the ruling angels of England, rules logic and reason.

- Zachriel is able to grant a good memory. Zadkiel [or Sadkiel or Tzadkiel], one of the nine regents of Heaven, also can grant a good memory.

- Zagzagel, one of the instructors of younger angels, is an angel of wisdom.

Protection

- Pray to the Archangel Gabriel in the west, thinking of winter. He is the deliverer of good news – the good news that you are safe and protected.

- Pray to the Guardian Angel of Heaven and Earth, who lives in the Sixth Heaven, to protect you from natural disasters.

- Pray to your own guardian angels to protect you

Anti-Addiction, Anti-Violence, and Anti-Anger

All four of the Archangels can be prayed to to deliver a person from self-destruction. Praying to all four archangels in the order of the compass directions below will help you “draw” a circle. Circles, since ancient times, have been considered protective and able to dispel and disperse negative energies. When “drawing” your circle, picture not only you being protected from the negativity of the self-destructive behaviour, please also picture the self-destructive person being encircled by protective and positive energies. Those energies, at the very least, will provide some feelings of well being.

[Please note, too, that another “circle” is “drawn” with the order of the seasons. Summer is the height of the self-destructive behaviour. In autumn, the behaviour begins to wane. In winter, the behaviour begins to die. And, finally, in spring, there is rebirth as a “new” person – cleansed of negativities.]

- Pray to Michael, facing east, thinking of summer. He is the champion against adversity. Ask him for protection.

- Pray to Uriel, facing south, thinking of autumn. He is the angel of retribution and can be asked to show the addicted/violent/angry person the errors of his or her ways.

- Pray to Gabriel, facing west, thinking of winter. He is the deliverer of good news and mercy. Pray for good news to come to you soon and mercy for the self-destructive person.

- Pray to Raphael, facing north, thinking of spring. He is the universal healer and can be asked to heal the hurt, anger, and pain. Raphael, too, is known as a great teacher. He can also be asked to help the self-destructive person to learn more gentle ways.

Breaking Hexes, Curses, Evil Spells, and Black Magic

All four of the Archangels can be prayed to deliver you from hexes, curses, and evil spells. Praying to all four archangels in the order of the compass directions below will help you “draw” a circle. When “drawing” your circle, picture not only yourself being protected, please also picture the person who’s cast against you being encircled by POSITIVE energies. [Please note, too, that another “circle” is “drawn” with the order of the seasons.]

- Pray to Michael in the east, thinking of summer. He is the champion against adversity. Ask him for protection.

- Pray to Uriel in the south, thinking of autumn. He is the angel of retribution and can be asked to show the person who has cast against you the errors of his or her ways.

- Pray to Gabriel in the west, thinking of winter. He is the deliverer of good news and mercy – the good news that you are safe and protected – but, also, mercy for the person who has cast against you.

- Pray to your own guardian angel or spirit guide to protect you. Any family, friends, and loved ones who have passed into the light are also guardian angels.

Fertility

- Invoke the Archangel Gabriel [Jibril – Islam/Muslim] if you wish to become pregnant. Gabriel is not only known as the angel of hope, he is also known as the angel of annunciation. In kabbalistic [Jewish] tradition, it is Gabriel who instructs children in the womb. Gabriel’s symbols are a lily [like the traditional Easter lilies], a trumpet, the direction west, the season of winter, the element of water, and his colours are blue, orange, and white.

- One interesting spell I came across, was for a woman to light a silver candle in Gabriel’s name, extinguish it in a goblet of water, then drink the water without pausing, and repeat this for the nine nights of the full moon. She should then become pregnant.

Love & Lust

- Pray to Theliel, as he is the Angel of love. Or, pray to Priapus, as he is the Angel of lust.

Truth Saying

- Pray to Haamiah, the angel who aids seekers of truth. He belongs to the Powers [2nd Order & 6th Choir of Heaven]. The Powers are believed to function through our intuition or inner voices – a good “voice” to hear when seeking truth. [Too, when you hear any kind of “warning” voice in your head, take heed. It is likely to be an angel or angels of the Powers speaking.]

- Camael, a Prince Regent of the Powers, amongst many of his talents is seen as Justice personified. Truth and justice go hand-in-hand. Add a prayer to Camael in your spell to help ensure truth-saying and truth-seeing.

- The Archangel Gabriel is also a Prince Regent of the Powers. One of Gabriel’s symbols is the lily. Lilies have been used since ancient times as a hex protection – and lies and untruths can be considered a “hex”. Add a lily to your truth spells whenever you pray to any of the Powers.

- Pray to Chamuel, one of the seven Archangels as well as the Chief of the Dominions [2nd Order & 4th Choir of Heavens]. His name means “he who seeks God” – in other words, “he who seeks Truth”. Both gold and green are considered colours of the Dominions as well as the scepter and orb. The scepter and orb are symbols of authority – which we, as ordinary folk, expect authorities to behave in a truthful and just manner.
