Process to receive parts for Takata Affected dealer vehicles - 16V-071 (Driver's Side Airbag) ONLY

In order to ensure the seamless and timely receipt of replacement parts for Takata Affected vehicles, please make sure you 100% comply with the existing process:

Vehicle must be entered into the Pre-Owned Inventory System (POIS). POIS is the trigger for BMW to push out a replacement part. If the Affected vehicle is not in POIS = NO PART will be sent!

It can take up to two weeks from date of POIS enrollment to date of part receipt - Please do not request parts for stock/dealer vehicles. Please keep your POIS inventory current.

Any enrollment issues, reach out to cpo.enrollments@ with any questions or concerns If you receive a part for a VIN you do not have in inventory, please contact bmwcpo@
