Rings and Studs associated with body piercing must be removed (where visible) while in uniform. Elective body modifications must never be visible. Fingernails must not be over ¼-inch long on women and closely trimmed on men. Women may wear polish that is a conservative shade, complementary to their skin color or to the uniform colors. ................
