Toss the bean bag to another clubber.That Student names the next book of the Bible.The Student tosses the bean bag to another clubber.That Student will name the next book of the Bible.Continue until all books have been named.As the coach:Keep the game going, fast paced.If a Student gets stumped, help them out.Variations:Just recite Old Testament Books; Just recite New Testament Books; Start with any Book of the BibleBible JeopardySupplies:Category envelopes with questionsWord Wise/DefinitionsBrain CheckMemorize (Quote)Books of the BibleSearch SiteJust 4 FunQ&ADirections:Students pick an Category.Coach reads the question.Student answers the question.Student keeps the question if they are correct.If the Student is wrong, the question goes back into the envelope.Student with the most answered questions is the winner.Egg Carton Shake UpSupplies:Egg Carton (with sections numbered 1-12)Die/small ball/marbleQuestions (from Practice Questions)Directions:Place the die/small ball/marble in the egg carton.Ask a Student a question.If the Student answers correctly, the Student shakes the carton, opens it & receives the points indicated by the die/small ball/marble.Whoever has the highest score wins.Musical ChairsSupplies:Chairs (enough for all players)Game CubeColored paper to match the Game Cube colors (red, blue, green, yellow, black, white)Music CDMusic playerVerses (from Practice Questions)Directions:Arrange a circle of chairs so that each Student has a chair to sit in.Tape the 6 different colors of papers to the chairs so that each chair has a different color.Explain to the Students that you will play musical chairs as a way of reciting the Bible verses that they are memorizing.Play the music, & when the music stops, the Students sit down where they are.Throw the Game Cube in the middle of the circle.Name the color on the cube.The Student sitting in the chair with that color stands & recites one of their verses.If there is more than one Student with that color, each Student will take a turn reciting a verse.Continue to play until all of the Students have had multiple opportunities to recite a verse.Last Student Standing(Run this like a Spelling Bee) Supplies:Chairs (enough for all players)Questions (from Practice Questions)Directions:Line chairs up in a single row.Students stand in front of their chairs.Ask the 1st Student a question.If the Student answers correctly, they remain standing.If the Student answers incorrectly, the Student sits down & the next Student gets a chance to answer the question.If that Student answers correctly, they remain standing & the next question goes to the next clubber.Continue to ask questions until there is only 1 Student standing.Balloon MatchSupplies:BalloonsQuestions (from Practice Questions) written on index cardDirections:Write one question on each card.Blow up balloons & write answers to the questions on the balloons. (Only one answer on each balloon.)Place index card questions on the floor.Students find & match the correct questions to the right answer balloon by placing the balloon on the index card on the floor.Fly Swatter GameSupplies:Two fly Swatters Index cards to write words on Whiteboard.Directions:Divide the students into two teams; seated in chairs 10 feet from the board.Write Definitions words on the whiteboard or tape the index cards to the wall.1 student from each team gets a fly swatter.Teacher reads a definition.The students with the fly swatters should run to the board and swat the correct answer.The first student to hit the correct word/card with the flyswatter wins a point for their team. Be sure to give them a limit for the number of swats they can take [make it two] or they will just start randomly swatting.The team with the most points after everyone has had a turn wins.Variations:Students get zero help from their teammates; Students can help their teammates by yelling out the correct answer.Face OffSupplies:WhiteboardDry erase markersDirections:Divide the students into two teams.Number the students or have them write their number down so that they don't forget!Say, "person 5 against person 5" and then read a question.The fives from each team should run to the board, and write what they think is the correct answer.The first to write the correct answer wins a point for their team.If neither student answers correctly, call a different set of students up.Variations:Students get zero help from their teammates; Students can help their teammates by yelling out the correct answer.Don’t lose your MarblesSupplies:Flashcards with Definitions and versesMarbles, ping pong balls or tickets; enough so that each students starts with 5.Directions:Each student gets one flash card.Set the timer for 5 minutes.Students circulate the room.Students turn to a partner.Partner 1 shows the word on her card to partner 2.Partner 2 gives the definition; if he doesn’t know it, partner 1 reads the definition; don’t waste time trying to remember it; this is a quick review.Partner 2 shows his word to partner 1.Partner 1 gives the definitions. If either one gets the answer correct, the other gives them a marble.Partners 1 &2 swap cards.They seek out new partners and repeat until the timer goes off.Student with the most marbles in the end wins.Variations:Using chairs create one circle of chairs in another circle of chairs. Have the same number of chairs in the inner and outer circles. Inner circle chairs facing out, outer circle chairs facing in across from each other. The inner circle rotates clockwise, outer counter clockwise at each turn. ................
