What is Boston FinTech Week?

This week of events is a collaboration between Boston's accelerators, institutions, startups, universities, firms, co-working spaces and you. It's a volunteer-led, grassroots effort to galvanize the local ecosystem. You'll have the opportunity to join workshops, panels, crash courses, fireside chats, speed dating and much more. The theme of this year's events is Moving Beyond Volatility. We'll highlight content on new models and technologies that move markets forward. Where is Boston FinTech Week hosted?

Events are hosted at a different venues in downtown Boston. Find details on the different events and their location here. How long is Boston FinTech week?

They'll be numerous events each day, from 8:00 am through 9:00 pm (Monday, September 10th Friday, September 14th). Who's running Boston FinTech Week?

This week of events is founded and organized by FinTech Sandbox. This grassroots effort is a collaboration with the city's greatest financial services and innovation technology practices, check out all the folks involved here. How much do the events cost?

Every event part of Boston FinTech Week is free! Will there be food/drink?

This is specific to each event. Some organizers will choose to provide refreshments, however event organizers are not required to provide food. Take notice as you register. How do I sign up?

Right here! You will register for each event you plan to attend.

What does event check-in look like?

This is specific to each event. There is no central check-in spot. Boston FinTech Week events are organized by lots of different firms with different check-in processes. To ensure entrance at the door, bring a photo ID and business cards with you to each event.

I'm coming from out of town. Where should I stay?

We're excited to welcome you to Boston! Here's a list of potential hotels located downtown close to all the action:

Check out our lounge, hosted by DCU FinTech Innovation Center, open 8:00 am - 5:00 pm each day. Access wifi, charge your phone, grab free coffee, and pick up some swag! Open to everyone! Here's the location:
