Dear Box 52 Members, Friends and Followers,

[pic]

Box 52 Member Stephen Walsh, urgently needs our support. Son of Brookline Firefighter Joseph Walsh, (late Box 52 Member), Steve is an award winning fire photographer, featured in the Boston Globe, The Herald, Fire News, and 1st Responder Newspaper.

Steve has had an extremely difficult medical journey in the past several years, coping with Spina Bifida, paralysis, a coma, and wheelchair confinement. Recently, the bones of his legs have become infected, and the doctors have performed a bi-lateral amputation. Steve’s medical costs will be staggering. His prosthetic legs will cost $250,000 over the next two years, including out of pocket costs for therapy not covered by insurance.

Your donation will mean so much to Steve and his family at this extremely traumatic time in his life. This GoFundMe account will be directly linked to Steve’s bank account and all monies will go directly to him. Click on the link to make a donation.

Please help your fellow Box 52 Member out by contributing what you can. Any amount large or small will help. Several of our members have already made donations.

For those of you who have concerns about donating online, checks can be mailed to Jessica Locke, 505 Waltham Street Suite 2, West Newton, MA 02465. Please make the check out to Stephen Walsh.
