building sanitation and school nurse response to suspected exposure ? No group gatherings if community infection rates are outside of acceptable range

The Facts

No final decision has been made.

Science will drive the decision.

Once made, the decision may change.

The decision will not be made until partners and community are heard.

The draft hybrid model is not perfect.

No matter how we start school in the fall, we expect to be back in our school buildings in some manner, on some schedule, at some point during the 20-21 school year.

Guardrails for Choosing the Model

1. Opt-in: Parents can choose to have students learn fully remote if desired.

2. Opt-out: Parents can choose to opt out of bus transportation.

3. Science Dictates if/when we return to school buildings.

4. Start Remote for All if public health metrics say not safe to return.

5. If/when public health numbers say it is safe, start with Hybrid Model.
