BRAN MUFFINSIngredients:1/2 c. boiling water1/2 c. All Bran Cereal1 ? tsp. baking soda1/4 tsp. salt1 ? c. flour1/2 c. sugar1/4 c. oil1 c. buttermilk1 egg1 c. Bran Flakes Cereal12 papered baking cupsDirections: Preheat oven to 400°.Line muffin tin with papered baking cups.Bowl # 1: Pour boiling water over the All Bran Cereal and let stand.Bowl # 2: Mix baking soda, salt, and flour together.Bowl # 3: Cream oil and sugar.Add buttermilk, eggs and hot bran to bowl # bine all ingredients (all bowls 1-3) together, including the Bran Flakes Cereal.Mix only until moistened.Fill baking cups 2/3 full. Makes 10-12 muffins. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes in the tin then transfer the muffins to the cooling rack. Allow the teacher to evaluate your finished product. Bring baked muffins over to supply table to share. ................
