3 Branches of Government Project
In this project students create a product that models or presents the three branches and the three levels of government. They may create whatever type of model or presentation they want as long as it is capable of representing the branches and levels of government (ex: large graphic organizer, mobile, 3 trees with 3 branches, PowerPoint presentation). In their model, students should explain each branch of government and its responsibilities. The legislative branch portion should also describe the two houses of Congress. In the project, students should also explain WHY we have three branches of government. You can see pictures of completed projects at the link below.
American Government
To show your knowledge of our government, you are going to make a model to demonstrate your understanding of American government. For the project, you can create any product of your choice. You just have to be sure that you will be able to meet all of the requirements on the checklist.
