GRANTS AND PROGRAMS

2001-2014 Knights Against Tobacco – Worked with teens to develop a multi-media program to inform teens about tobacco use. Our program received over $150,000 in grant funding and uses posters, videos, a “Hip-Hop” group and drum line to deliver the message. Our data indicates that we have seen a continued reduction of tobacco use by students at Mt. Pleasant High School.

Received $10,000.00 from the Delaware Department of Education

Partnered with Brandywine Counseling & Community Services

2010-2011 Connections to Learning Grant Facilitator

Received $7351.00 from the Delaware Department of Education to improve academic achievement of students by fostering connections within the school and community.
