Educate them on Norwalk Radiology and Mammography Center ? Educate them about Smilow Family Breast Health Center ? Inform them that Norwalk Hospital really is the one stop, for all things breast health ? from Mammograms at Norwalk Radiology and Mammography Center to the care and educational resource at Smilow Family Breast Health Center. ? Also Inform them how Norwalk Hospital is the only one who can do a 48 hour turnaround with Mammograms to get you the results fast. ? Raise money for Norwalk Hospital's Smilow Family Breast Health Center

Norwalk Hospital will be the Title Sponsor for STAR 99.9's PINKTOBER! PINKTOBER, is a month long, multi-integrated marketing campaign to raise awareness for Norwalk Hospital and their Smilow Family Breast Health Center. The main purpose of this program is to inform the community of all of their breast cancer services that they provide

while educating our STAR 99.9 Listeners during Breast Cancer Month (October).

Signature Events

STAR 99.9 along with Norwalk Hospital will present a series of community events throughout the month of October to support awareness for Breast Cancer and help raise funds. Each event will include a fundraising element that will raise money for Norwalk Hospital's Smilow Family Breast Health Center. We will also tie in 3rd Parties who will help support each event.

STAR's PINK Acoustic Session with Vance Joy ? Wednesday 10/15/14 at Orange Ale House, Orange We will kick off Pink-Tober on 10/15 with a STAR 99.9 Acoustic Session with the artist Vance Joy. He will play a private show for STAR 99.9 Listeners and has also agreed to meet any listener that donates to Norwalk Hospital's Smilow Family Breast Health Center.

STAR's Pink For A Cause Fundraiser? Thursday 10/16/14 at Riverview Bistro in Stratford STAR 99.9 has teamed up with Riverview Bistro for Color Pink For A Cure Fundraiser Dinner. STAR 99.9 Listeners will be invited to come out for a great night with our STAR 99.9 Personalities! With a $20 donation our listeners will get in the door and receive a buffet dinner which includes -- music, silent and live auction and a cash bar. All proceeds from the tickets and auction will go toThe Smilow Center at Norwalk Hospital.

Breast Cancer Survivor Fashion Show ? 10/23 at Darien Sport Shop STAR 99.9 along with Darien Sport Shop will honored 10-15 survivors at Norwalk Hospital's annual fashion show. These survivors will get their hair and & make done by a local salon and be outfitted by Darien Sport Shop. Anna Zap along with Mary Heery RN, from Norwalk Hospital will be the EmCees. It will be a fun night out filled with music from STAR 99.9, food from Palmers Market and raffles. The raffles and part of the proceeds from sales that night at The Darien Sport Shop will be donated to The Smilow Center at Norwalk Hospital.

Lipstick, Love & Relationships With Dr. Laura Berman ? 10/27 at Marisa's Ristorante in Trumbull Star99.9 will bring Dr. Laura Berman, STAR 99.9 Personality of UnCovered which airs M-F 9p ? 12a, to Connecticut for an intimate event of discussion about love & relationships. It will be a fun night out! Star listeners can either win or buy tickets into this exclusive event or to join in on the discussion. All proceeds will be donated toThe Smilow Center at Norwalk.
