Pneumonic Pasteurellosis (Shipping Fever)

Shipping fever pneumonia is a respiratory disease of cattle of multifactorial etiology. It is associated with infection by Mannheimia [Pasteurella] haemolytica, Pasteurella trehalosi and, less commonly, P. multocida or Haemophilus somnus and in chronic pneumonia with pulmonary abscessation Arcanobacterium pyogenes is frequently isolated. ................
