WEBQUEST COMPETITION GUIDE

(Please read them carefully before you start the competition)

There are 2 categories of webquest competition:

1. LearnEnglish Kids webquest (we recommend for 6-12 years old)

2. LearnEnglish webquest (we recommend over 12 years old + adults)

!! The Webquest Competition opens Friday 22nd May and closes Friday 30th May 2014.

The Webquest Competition instructions:

1. Go to the competition entry forms by clicking on this link

2. Download and save the version of the webquest competition entry form you want (category 1 for kids or 2 for adults)

3. Open the webquest document, click on the link to the relevant website and answer all 5 questions.

4. Write your full name and telephone number and email (if you are over 18 years old)

5. Write your full name and your parents’ telephone number and your parents’ email (if you are under 18 years old)

6. Save your completed webquest competition form.

7. Submit your completed entry to English4future@tn.

Eligibility

• This competition is open to all Tunisian nationals resident in Tunisia.

• The competition runs from 23 May to 30 May 2014 by midnight.

• Entries received after 30 May 2014 will not be eligible.

• The competition is open to Tunisians nationals of any age.

• You can enter the competition only once per person during the competition dates.

• British Council staff or relatives of British Council staff may not enter this competition.

Selection

• Selection will take place by 31 May 2014 after the deadline. Winners will be notified on Saturday 31st May 2014.

• The selection panel will comprise of British Council staff. Selection will be done on a random basis by selecting the first 20 correct entries from the email inbox.

• The decision of the judging panel will be final and no discussion will be entered into.

Deadline

• Electronic entries should be submitted to English4future@tn. on or before Friday 30th May 2014.

• No late entries will be accepted.

Prizes

• The prizes will be announced at the English language Week closing ceremony at Cite des Sciences on Saturday 31st May and will also be advertised on

• Prizes will be distributed either in person at the closing ceremony on 31st May 2014 or on appointment from the British Council in Tunis.

Conditions governing prizes

• Prizes are not transferable and cannot be redeemed in cash or any other form.

IMPORTANT: post competition promotion

• Please note: by entering the competition, you agree to give the British Council permission to publish the results of the competition winners.

• The British Council reserves the right to use competition winners’ names in Press releases and publicity materials and may require winners to participate in any media coverage including interviews or photos and contribute to British Council promotions both internally and externally.
