|Job Purpose: Working under the direction and guidance of the Definitive Map and Local Land Charges Team Leader, the post holder will contribute |

|proactively to the overall management, development and continuous improvement of the Local Land Charges team in processing highway and planning enquiries|

|for local land charge searches and to support Officers in the Environment Service Area to ensure customer focused, timely, efficient and effective |

|service delivery. |

|Job Context |

|To process highway enquiries for local land charges searches, including completing all appropriate documentation |

|To update records, including input to Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and other office based systems including data bases, spreadsheets and word |

|processing packages and to assist with the implementation of the GIS, TLC and NLIS (National Land Information System) systems for the Local Land Charges |

|group and other applications as appropriate |

|To respond to enquiries from the public, solicitors, District County Council Officers and Local Members as appropriate |

|To represent (or support) the Authority in meetings, seminars, conferences and participate in service area wide management team working |

|To assist the Team Leader in managing performance and ensure the delivery of the service within defined timescales and improvements in service delivery |
