Hello! This is Lucia from Kia! I¡¯m

excited to greet you from the Romeo

Family¡¯s newest dealership, Romeo Kia

of Kingston. As many of you know from

our slogan, ¡°We Sell Cars¡­Family Style¡±,

we are a family-run dealership. My dad,

Lenny, started the company 33 years ago

with Carriage Traders, our used car store

in South Glens Falls, and we expanded

into the Hudson Valley with Romeo

Chevrolet Buick GMC, which opened in

2000.

I am proud to be with our company for

my whole life, having grown up in the

business and starting by washing cars

when I was a kid! I starting selling cars

at Romeo Chevrolet Buick GMC when I

was 18 years old and have been here ever

¡°Volt Training¡±

Romeo Chevrolet Buick GMC hosted an educational evening for

the Ulster and Dutchess Counties Fire Departments. This event

featured the Chevrolet Volt. There were over 50 firefighters in

attendance with access to 3 Chevrolet Volts.

Emergency Responders are required to know the correct way

to enter a vehicle in case of an accident. Viewing the electrical

systems with the panels removed was a main focal point. The

firefighters were very surprised at the ease of which the cabin could

be accessed. Also in attendance were 2 GM World Technicians and

a GM Certified Volt Technician to guide discussions.

Romeo Chevrolet Buick GMC provided a full dinner buffet to show

their appreciation for the firefighters¡¯ attendance, as well as express

gratitude towards the firefighters¡¯ service to the community.

? We held a festive dinner party for our community with games, face

painting and cookie decorating for the children, along with a surprise visit from Santa

Romeo Kia is our newest venture. We

recently celebrated our 2-year anniversary.

While my brothers have both been in the

family business since they could walk,

I took a ¡°career detour¡± to first become

an attorney before realizing that I too

exciting and customer-oriented business.
